"# Primary Attributes (Stats) - Races, Classes and Levels\n\n## Introduction\nIf you've played an MMORPG before there's a good chance you've read a guide like this before. Maybe you're just curious or maybe you want to know which race has the *best* starting attributes for your class. Of course best is subjective, and attributes alone won't make you the best at whichever class you've choosen to play. We've also no idea how gear will affect attributes; for example, will it be easy to cap all or some of them meaning starting attributes aren't important at higher levels. It should also be remembered that Pantheon is still in EA, and everything is subject to change. \n\nBelow you'll find info on the base attributes for each race currently in game, the innate bonus each class gets, and where the games advises you to spend the extra points you get. Finally for each class I add all this together with tables showing the starting attributes for each class and race combination.\n\nAs the game changes during EA, and into release, I will endeavour to keep this guide updated. But enough said, let's get down to some details.\n\n## Races\nCurrently six of the nine races are available, the other races will be added to this guide when they're in the game. Each race starts with exactly 48 points in their attributes, but each race has a unique set of values. On the character creation screen there is a button which if you hover over will explain that it will automatically distribute those points. You are of course free to spend those extra points however you choose. However if we are, again, making the assumption that these are the important attributes for that class then it seems the best option is to use it.
