As the Draconic runes binding it flare, the burden on one's soul becomes heavier. Beneath the caked soot and damage, barely visible inscriptions dance down the length of the blade. It seems impossible to hone and polish by any normal means, but has remained keen. As foes strike at you, the soot swirls about, causing their blows to err.
