Righteous Flames

Description

The townsfolk tell me that the undead come from some ruins nearby. Just across the bridge. I approached to learn more, but the entire place has become cloaked in some deathly shadow. We need some means to try and drive it back.

Here, take this pouch of blessed incense. I procured it at great cost from an apothecary in the capital, so don’t lose it! If you approach the ruins near town you should find a brazier that i placed on my last visits. With luck, the flames stil burn, though it did little to dispel the encroaching darkness.

Add the incense to the flames, and let us see if there is any effect. Return to me when you have finished.
