Matron of the Forgotten Seal

Quest Text
Here we are again. Another passage, another warning.
It doesn’t name her directly, but I can make out just enough: ‘a matron of death, a servant of the Barren, keeper of that which must not pass further.’
Charming.
There’s mention of a gemstone. The kind we need. Burried beneath her virgil.
If I had to wager, she’s nesting near the glyph that spoke of the Barren. It makes sense. If she’s guarding something, it’s going to be near that symbol.
Just don’t underestimate her. If the text’s right this isn’t just another Ashbreather. This one’s been around long enough to remember the Barren Queen herself. Maybe served her. maybe killed for her. Maybe both.
Go carefully. Or go boldly. Just don’t go alone.
Hand-in Dialog(beware: possible spoilers)
You faced her and walked away breathing? You must be blessed by some powerful clerics.
I’ve been going through the journal again. Something’s off. The author knew too much. Described places we assumed were sealed to all outsiders. Even hinted at these gemstones like they’d held them.
That kind of knowledge doesn’t come from maps or secondhand stories.
I think the author didn’t just observed the Ashbreathers. They were one of them. Or become one.
But now, thanks to you, we’ve got the fourth gem.
