Quest Text
[ He moves slowly with the stiffness of a man paying each movement. The Spine of Binding and the five gemstones laid out before him like offerings]
Don’t look at me like that. I’m fine.
You’ll like this next part…
“To awaken the bones that bind,
Shape the lock where dragons dined.
Heat the spine till bonds give way.
At memory’s hearth, the path shall stay.”
The Dragon Forge. It’s always been the Dragon Forge. That’s where this lock was born, where it can be shaped again. The Spine’s designed to take the gems. You’ll see it. Slots, channels… something ancient. My guess? The forge’s flames will melt the alloy just enough for the stones to set. No more, no less.
[He gives the faintest smile Tired, but defiant.]
Go. Forge it. And when you return… we finish what we started.
Hand-in Dialog(beware: possible spoilers)
[He grips the reforged key with both hands, gaze steady. A hard glint in his eye.]
You did it. The forge knew. They key’s ready.
I can’t cross that threshold. Not anymore. But that was never the point. This? This is what we come for. Now you carry the last piece.
[He exhales. His voice low but iron edged.]
What waits behind that door isn’t just treasure. It’s legacy. My ancestors wanted someone to reach it. Maybe me, maybe not. Regardless, it’s you now.
