A legend so bold and broad as to become terrifying. So terrifying, that those who once recounted it with adoration, dared not invoke its name. Once the legend dared not be spoken of, like all things, it succumbed to time. Now, these bands are all that remain of the figure once adored by all, once feared by all, and now lost to time.

However, some of the still-distinguishable runes glow when exposed to vile energies, hinting at the nature of the one whom it was originally crafted for.

Forever frosty and cold, sometimes the light catches the crystalline structure just right and glints like a diamond. Legend has it that the previous owner found it quite bothersome when trying to focus on tasks like battling a giant, murderous creatures, so he took it off and hurled it at the Wyvern mid-battle. However, his aim was so poor from being blinded by the sparkling helm that it missed entirely and landed in the beast's treasure trove.
