Have you seen those goblins that live in the caves? A bunch of thieves, they are.

I’ve spotted them sneaking around town at night, taking anything that isn’t nailed down. They seem to slip past the Watchguard every time though.

I think it’s time we take back what was stolen. Find their stashes and see what they’ve got in there. If you find anything interesting, bring it back to me.

Where can I find these hobgoblin junk crates?

  • Look for the junk crates in the Hobgoblin camps around TF.

  • Map-Pin for one of the Hobgoblin Camps in TF.

Are we sure Dusty Map is for this exact quest? There is another quest from Dorion called On a Hunch, Pt1 that specifically wants us to find a dusty map in one of the goblin burrows.

Apparently, the Dusty Map is used in both quests. I just looted it from a goblin junk crate and both of my quests are showing complete. I bet this was supposed to be the Broken Weapon is why that's also popping up but nobody can loot it.

I've opened easily 100 goblin junk stashes and seen about 80 Broken Weapons (which I can't take because I haven't found whatever quest that's tied to). But no Dusty Maps. Gonna lose it.

I have done the same.... and almost given up. But then I find the map in the camp/cave on the other side of Manor.

This quest relies heavily on luck. I'm closing in on level 26, and have yet to find this item to further the quest. There are just not enough chests that spawn down in Goblin Caves for this quest to feasibly rely on a chance to drop. FIX IT!

Find a goblin camp and sit there for a bit. The Junk Chests are on a 1min spawn timer. Took me 40 mins at one camp and got the map.

The spawn rate for these has been drastically reduced. (If you don't loot everything in the first chest you find, you can just reopen the same chest several times to complete the quest.)
