10 pieces of Burlap Cloth worth much more than quest reward....and no next quest available. I will prefer using 10 Burlap Cloth to level up your tailor skills, just delete the quest if you picked it up.
Looted this two back, don't remember the date exactly. but stats are now 53ac, +2str, +1sta, +1wis, +1 Cold resistance- Class: Warrior, Cleric, Paladin, bard (from 3 CR to 1 CR change)
Looted dusty satchel today, still 14 slots but no bonus carry weight.
Edited, just looked at my carry weight, and it is indeed up by 10. Description on the satchel doesn't say +10 carry weight though.
Spent a total of 14hours camping this guy. The math is roughly 56 total spawns/PH's. Several War Scout spawns, eventually he relinquished the totem. GL hunting out there. Saw more rings than staves.
This is so dumb. It's a unique item, which means I can make one for myself, park it in my bank, and fill it with stuff...but if someone else wants me to make THEM one, then i have to empty out mine, give them mine, make me a new one, and then refill that one with all my stuff. Absolutely kneecaps crafting this for others.
Camped Grak-Gor solo on my lv27 Shaman spread out over 3 days. Approx 7 hours in camp total as a rough estimate, Totem dropped on my 4th Grak today on this post's date.
He can burst fairly strong at times, I felt much more efficient killing him with my 1h+shield than I did using a 2-handed mace.
Why have the totem on a shaman? Surely it's not necessary. But shamans kill very slow, so I'll take all the dps I can squeeze. Wish you all the best <3
Location description: When facing the Manor, he's atop of the left building structure. His spawn is on the direct left after climbing the stairs and facing the center of the platform. The PH is the closest spawn to where the bricks at the corner reach the highest in a nook which you can climb to rest. It is possible to only kill the PH and not kill the remaining platform depending on your level. Tip: when fighting him, put your back in that nook so that you don't get punted off the tower. I found that keeping a 13 minute 30 second timer was best for the PH.
Does this exist anymore? I've been farming this location for several days and have not seen this drop. Someone told me that it was no longer available. Is this true?
This spell only lasts for 10 seconds, not 30. This basically means you can only cast it once to help separate a group of mobs as the recast timer is also 10 seconds.
Are you getting this from the codex? As that is bugged and lies to you. This is a learned technique that will auto-appear in your codex at a certain level (which we believe to be 5) but the codex says level 1 for all techniques right now. Which is wrong.
This is in the game now, as of the most recent jewelcrafting release and update. It does indeed use the scales from the asps in AVP as one of its components. As of the most recent update (March 5 2025) the +18 Haste rating = 1% Haste.
While searching for Peltmaster Krane, this Bear jumped me and gave me it's Tooth. 3/7/25 note: I did kill 8-10 Bears on the way in. Killed it right outside trapper cave for Krane.
You will want to play with Thought Thief some more I suspect and learn it's value. Once you learn what it can truly do, you will NEVER leave it off your bar :). TIP: Cast it on a mob that your group is currently in combat with, that has multiple DoTs, Debuffs etc. and watch what happens to the DoTs and Debuffs if your Thought Thief is successful!
How many times has your puller brought a surprise Iron Willed mob that wasn't noticed until combat already started, and now you can't mez the other mob due to DoTs... well this spell immediately wipes all those and lets you Mez him immediately :).
TIPS:
1. If you intend to use this to truly wipe a mobs memory and clear aggro, be sure your out of aggro range when you cast it, or the mob will re-aggro even if successful.
2. Can cast on a mob that is mezzed, rooted etc. so root that 3rd iron willed mob, have your pally park him away from the group and mem blur him to send him home.
3. Keep root as a tool to lock down a failed mob to help get thru the timer if another cast is needed. 2 Trait mobs with specific combinations of traits can be almost unbeatable alone, i have used this to help get them alone.
One other thing I noticed, INVISIBILITY is a 10 minute spell per description and buff timer, but it can still drop early. Not sure if maybe it starts at 6 minutes, or why you had that time.
Mana Guzzle is not consistently 33%, more times than not casters give crappy returns and melee provide better. I have seen as little as 5-10% and upwards to 50% on a cast. I wish it was a static amount and reliable, as many times I could use it but have a mob that would render it inefficient due to low return, and I wait until the next pull or two on a mob that has a better return.
Our Dominating Will debuff line's biggest value is that it is almost impossible to be resisted. Anytime I am in a group and doing oranges/reds I open with this, then go with Brain Drain (sometimes I have to wait on someone else's debuff to get in before Brqin Drain will get thru resists, but once it is in I can usually get slow on and have moderate success with interrupts. It's also the first one in on spell nullifiers and resistant traits. NOW IT CAN BE RESISTED, especially against reds, but it is the ONE spell you will get to land when all others wouldn't, and it opens the door for more debuffs to get the mobs defense manageable.
Last comment is just my opinion, Magical Opening only lasts 10 seconds, and costs 4% mana. I do not find it worth using during a solo delayed wound/mez battle. Best you could do is one attack on it, and that is if you mez fast enough to get your 8 second delayed wound on in under 2 seconds. I would rather use Expose-> Brain Drain after the first nuke, while the mob is stunned with Stupefy, and then re-mez as soon as those two are on. It further lowers magical defense for the duration of the fight or the buff timer (1-2 minutes at least).
Just got Ichor Scorched Partisan after about 6 Lydra kills. The proc does around 28 to 29 damage from some brief testing on gray mobs. It's also not a DoT, it is instant toxic damage. Graphic looks like a small green splash. Also scorching venom damage does not seem to show up in combat logs. Extremely good weapon though and worth farming.

Got a drop off Windfeather today. The one I had drop it had the Flurry talent. I dont know if that is an indicator but I thought I would include it as something that could possibly be tracked.
With the new patch changes from 03/05/25, jewelry has become very unattractive. The materials needed to craft it are harder to obtain, such as Zinc. Additionally, it is no longer possible to combine, as stated in this guide, Pewter with Copper or Brass. Pewter signed cannot be placed in a copper schematic and vice versa.
The other day, I crafted an earring that gave +4 Concealment, but after the patch reduced the stats, it dropped to +2 Concealment and +5 Mana. Why would my rogue need Mana? It would be great if what this guide explains could actually be done... but at least I haven't been able to.
The items needed list when selecting "Lidded Storage Box" says "SmallBox Frame", which is slightly confusion because the one you need is called "Simple Storage Box Frame" and the higher tier frame is called "Small Storage Chest Frame". Key thing to watch out for there is the one you need says "Box Frame" and the other says "Chest Frame".

Can anyone tell me what the 5th map fragment is? I have 1-4, just need the 5th. I stopped the quest a while back and I am getting back after it. I have killed Jorryn 12 times, Droga 4 times, double checked both the ground spawns. The goblin cave chest map that dropped I couldn't loot either.
I don´t understand anything about this guide, people in game say this is about rings, earrings and necklaces, and here I read about rounds, squares, figurines and scepters, yet the guide is being updated after recent patch. Updated on what? Can anyone shed some light on how JC actually works as of today? I find this guide useless
Can confirm, after 36 kills and 1 Pog...got a Scroll of Flame Ward and its 40 resistance.
Does he drop a Frost Ward? as I am in Hangore all the time and will keep camping...
This quest appears to have a pre-requisite quest, or possibly minimum level. Neither my level 4 Dire Lord nor my level 4 Druid were prompted for this quest. Will level up a little bit and report back.
Edit: I was able to pick up the quest at level 5 on both toons - no pre-requisite quest needed. Seems Lv. 5 is the minimum.
I enjoyed reading this article. Some comments:
* Spell-turn gives only 7 seconds to return the spell, not 10 seconds.
* The level 40 mesmerize spell doesn't increase duration. It might reduce resistances or something, but otherwise is useless because it costs 15 instead of 10 mana.
* The 30:15 mana transfer spell is still relevant over level 40 in situations where you happen to have full mana.
* Mention that there are many important mobs that are secretly immune to mesmerize and stun that are not labeled as iron-willed.
* Mention Ancestral Fire and the other Hanggore orcs' ability to break nearby mesmerize.
* I haven't seen Shock & Awe break in 10 seconds.
* Duoing with another enchanter or by exposing and timing spells with a wizard is moderately efficient.
Note: haste is a nerf to channeled heals and probably some other abilities like DoTs. Example. Caste enchanter haste on heal pet and it gets 7 ticks instead of 8.
With the con changes, feralings are pretty much the main path to 50. Especially on the north part of the area where they group up in bunches of 6 or more. Won't get anywhere without dps and constant pulls though.
Can any of the named Jewelry recipes be crafted as higher tiers? The Cotton Grizzleclaw Necklace is the only source of +Block Rating, but the item only give +10 to that stat, and when shields have +600 to that stat, ten isn't much. Is there any known way to craft a Gossamer or Linen version of the grizzleclaw necklace for additional block rating stats?
If not, they really should, cuz otherwise some of the "named jewelry" recipes are made irrelevant pretty quickly after getting them.
Can this be crafted with higher tier components? Being called "cotton" grizzleclaw necklace makes me wonder if you can somehow make gossamer, or linen versions of it...
On two different occasions, i found a map fragment in a supply chest and tried to switch characters to pick it up. By the time I arrived with my other character the supply chest was gone. Not sure if someone else happened upon it of it auto despawns after some cooldown after any item is taken out of it.
Can't remember exactly without logging in but check some of the suppliers around the crafting areas in the starting towns. Beeswax is used in low-tier crafting and most low-tier resources are available on suppliers close to the crafting NPCs.
How much does Blade of carnage life leach proc hit for and what does it heal for? Also the ring how much spell power does it increase? Id assume its from 6pm to 6am its active.
Schematic: Illusionist shawl. It takes a thick bear pelt.. so havent made one yet, when i do will i Update with stats. pretty sure i got It from a chest in lower halnirs cave.
Confirmed the Cloth Handwrap drops from Ulthiran Cultist and is the correct weapon to finish the quest. At least for Monks. Don't know if this is same quest that Flea posted about.
I found Ringleader and now have his Lock Box Key. Where is the box it goes to?
It's in the broken down house behind the one with the campfire facing the pond.
Flesh Bitten are random spider replacements, bats can also replace spiders occasionally. I tend to leave them to help with pulling as the bats don't agro along with the spiders.
Trying to finish The Weapon Master 3rd or 4th quest The Best Defense is a Good Offense. As a monk I must get the killing blow on a Gadai Bandit using a Cloth Handwrap. Tried many times with the Cloth Punching Wrap given for his first quest. I've gotten the blow with each hand but not receiving credit. Nobody in game seems to know of a pair of Cloth Handwraps, even though Shalazam has them listed as an item. Any help would be appreciated.
Port to Wilds End, then head southeast from the portal location. You should hit the water with the elementals on the shore and the goblins on the far side
The T2 crafted version of this is:
Cotton Scholar's Robe:
10 armor
+2 int
2.4 weight
Made with:
- Acuity-Infused Robe Basis
- Simple Cloth Basis
- Copper Buttons
can confirm we had it drop a couple of days ago. cool skin, damage seems good against fast attacking mobs and by all accounts it should give the wearer more threat as the damage comes from them.
Don't be like me and forget that you have to return to your starter zone to get the profession, my halfling self was confused in Thronefast for longer than I'd like to admit.
Tooltip is wrong and this skill is currently useless unless they change it. 12 mana, 3 second cast time, 4 minute duration, drains 5 mana every 5 seconds while in use. Save your money.
He gives you all the items you need, so you just have to head to the workbench and combine them. Quest line seems to end here currently, but was a nice little lore drop.
The bastard does not spawn, the placeholder has spawned many times now, but no white wolf. Has been camping him for hours, no spawn out of probably 10 times or more. They need to do something with bosses' chances to spawn...
Can anyone confirm that he even still spawns?
At the start of the Profession, Signets are used in Novice Signet Ring, Novice Pendant and Novice Hoop Earring.
I made a Novice Signet Ring of Acuity -> Pewter Signet of Acuity, Pewter Ingot, Beeswax, and Ashen Polish. The ring has +1 INT on it.
Sub-combine - Pewter Signet of Acuity: Pewter Ingot, Beeswax, and Celestium Dust of Acuity.
Inventory clicky with a 2 minute cooldown. Provides a buff that stays active until clicked off called "Power of the White Wyvern". "Cold and Nature damage empowered"
This quest does not require you to craft any pewter signet rings. You will receive a schematic from quest to craft Soldier's Insignia Ring. DO NOT craft any pewter signet rings thinking you can use them for this quest.
I have Ruby, Sapphire, Aquamarine, Opal, Emerald, Diamond, Amethyst, Tourmaline from mining in Hangore for the last few weeks. Also one or 2 other gems I dont know where they are from but not on this last either.
Anyone know, what stats these gems effect?
NOTE: if you are an Elf or Halfling, he will not give you the quest. You must request it in Sorhiryth. (It will be fixed next patch, so early March 2025)
For my Rogue 9 to 12 these were a staple diet when soloing. Be wary that you don't get an overinflated sense of self-awesomeness and take on something harder without thinking!
As a rogue, avoid these things even if they're blue. Their Sonic Screech things makes you miss your special attacks a lot, and then they Drain Blood. Just not worth the downtime for benefit. Maybe if Bat Meat becomes useful you might want to farm them when you've outlevelled them, but for xp it's a 'NO!' from me.
Schematic can be purchased from Sadie Flintfinger [Armorsmith] in Availia. Second Tab, Righthand column, 3rd item from the top.
Schematic can also be purchased from Brielle Khalion [Weaponsmith] in Availia. Second Tab Lefthand column, 3rd item from the top.
This has been shown by Joppa a few times...as their test NPC for Branching Dialogue with permanent choices.
He is still there and will be utilized showing how they can work with "flags" and dialogue choices as options to come later in game.
Update: Killed him total of 5 times (was roughly 50 spawns of PH) : 4 Jerkin, 1 Axe '2/28/25' Bearded Axe 3.0del 1str 9 phy crit rat
Last Kill - Flanged Mace 6dmg - 3.1del +1 con
I wish they would distinguish between flavor text and an item having a worn effect in some way as most items don't even get flavor text. Zaruk belt straight up says what it does, but I'd like a hard "no this item doesn't do crap, we're just typing words".
Focused on killing Shadowy Thugs and Shadowy Mavens at the thug camp North of Avalia near the aqueducts around loc 3550, 4150. Took about 15 kills and it dropped off a Shadowy Maven for me. Solo'd as a 15 Wiz
I just completed the first two parts using the info on this thread. LOCs are accurate. I looted both of the first two pieces during daytime. The only things I would like to add is that the location to climb up at 3028 3594 was very useful. A friend went with at a climbing skill of 2 and made it up. Secondly the stone location is correct at 2829 3693. I can't believe no one has mentioned this is right in front of a cave entrance. The stone is very small and there are enough Hobgoblins to deal with that I feel its important to mention this to know you are in the right spot. Also, there was a maple tree spawned right next to the rock as well. I hope this helps. Good luck!
Good Info - area is above grizzly named, can also access it through the arch in boar valley...
Dozen Spawns of Tents - got Larc the Weaponsmith twice - dropped 14 arm 1con jerkin both times <p.s. was not group* mob>
I went around my own advice and sold it to the Treasure Hunter. Nothing happened. I did notice one of the texts he has is "Find it, sell it, go out and find it again. All before the turn comes for you."
He also says "There's wealth in iron and treasure in gold, but the richness of time can never be sold." So a bit of a contradiction here if I'm selling him ancient coins, if the coins were actually related to him. Everyone gets those texts too, they did not appear after selling.
I'm probably overthinking it all, it's probably just an item with no purpose other than gaining a small amount of silver. I do like a good puzzle, but just like Ancient Griffin Feather, I realize it's beta and these things may just not be in the game. It would just be nice if they could tell us if there's more to those items currently in the game, or flagged them as incomplete if not.
The lantern is now hard to see in the fog, you have to turn the corner where it is in order to see if it's there (and pick it up). Generally has spawned around 8-10PM for me.
/time he spawns at around 1800 and his place holder is a skeleton that walk from the aqueducts towards the wizard portal pad. We killed him twice and all he dropped us the bow.
king rabbit is definitely placeholder for this mob - if you saw them both up at the same time I'd venture thats a bug. Might be worth reporting to the devs.
I have killed 200 SW placeholders of the bonfire as described, making sure I am matching my /loc coords to Shala map to be in the correct spot. Not one spawn.
From Thronefast, go to the cross roads. Take a right. follow and eventually there is a tall bit of stone on the right. There is also a hill that goes up beside this stone. At the top of the hill, there is a tree and 3 fox spawns. one is always a full grown fox, with 2 young spawns. At night these will be moonhoppers. You can usually get at least 2 cycles of spawns during the day. The tail seems to be kind of rare and will not come from skinning the corpse. GL!
over 30 hours. 304 spawns. 61 chiefs. 0 cloaks. going to give the game a break. if that had been on a 1 shard server that would be over 90 hours of camping the spawn. can't say I agree with the drop design of the game.
Man I can't get him to spawn hardly. Camped him 10 hrs the past 2 days and only saw him 2 times and dropped boots. I can't shard hop but 27 times even with shard hopping is some good rng
name pop is like every 90-120 min 1 time (average), and drop shit most of time, It's extremely torturous for the players. this bad desing should not keep
I spent several days camping this Named. All its PHs spawned as described by other players: during the day, beetles and spiders, and at night, young vipers. During the day, they spawn every 3 hours (game time), but at night, every 5. It only spawns once or twice at night. However, after killing each of its PHs consecutively for more than five nights (game time), the Named never appeared for me. I don’t think it’s active.
Has anyone gotten a gem-encrusted mace (https://shalazam.info/items/2099-gem-encrusted-mace) in a while? I have probably 15 kills without one. 3 shields, probably 8 pairs of shoulders, and the rest the crappy club.
Not sure how people are coming up with these high numbers. At a glance raw material cost for this is:
8 Cotton Bolls (you will have 3 left over twine)
1 Bear Tallow
Needs updating, there are at least some missing from tailoring including eloquence infused chest, eloquence infused hood, Magic runed leggings, etc. It is easily viewable by talking to Raven Trading Company traders to see what is available there
The ring activates at 18 game time and deactivates at 5. I go from doing around 105-110 per nuke on the level 34 wizard channeled nuke to about 140-145, given the same level mob. No Idea if this works with healing, but it is NOT the stat "spell power" that increases. This is just a confusing item description. It just makes spells more effective at night.
Where do you find these? I believe I need them for the Weapon master quest "The Best Defense is a Good Offense." This is not the same as the Cloth Punching Wrap from the Weapon Merchant.
I don't know why I never thought to check the wiz vendor...
It's definitely not on the enchanter vendor.
"Chaotic Imbuement" is the only farm-only spell if Gate and Invis are on the wiz vendor.
Respawn time needs to be quicker, he's constantly getting killed by non-monks due to him appearing to be a rare named mob. If they didn't fully capitalize each part of the name, it wouldn't have this problem as often. But "Abandoned Quarry Golem" seems rare compared to "an abandoned quarry golem".
Just to help with a quick "at-a-glance" calculation for what you need for this currently:
6 maple Logs
12 Ash Logs
2 Asherium Nails
4 Ashen Bronze Nails
The new text:
"A jiggling pouch of ancient coins. You could probably sell this."
It sells for just over 12 silver... yeah I'll hold onto it. It doesn't make sense for it to sell for so little and be a No Trade item.
I tested the weight reduction out. I first had 5 gatherer's bags 8slot +10 carry weight total of 165 weight. I remove one and put it in the bank. Then replaced it with the Dusty Satchel and my weight stayed at 165. So it may not say +10 carry weight anymore, but it still registers as it is.
Yes, in TF. You can type in X/Y coords on the map and drop pins there to help - like this.
From the AVP gate bindstone, head east and move through the Gadai. Gradually drop down the cliffs to your left once you can go no further, and eventually you'll be at that dropped pin. If you end up at bears/boars, you dropped a bit far :)
someone said there is a place u can sit and see the lantern without getting agro. Is this still true? and if so where is this spot? and what level character because agro radius is affected by level correct?
As of today, this spell is now 15% AC decrease and lasts 2 minutes.
At level 18 you can get Corrosion which is 20%, lasts 2 minutes and costs 78 silver to purchase.
No, he spawns down the way from the cave near a tree with a bush at its base, then paths towards the cave, then turns around and back to the tree. Rinse and repeat till he's killed.
The spoiler text is completely unnecessary and makes this difficult and annoying to read.
If you are going to a website to seek information about a game you should expect spoilers, there is no reason for this.
Hello! The Forelyn Fox page will show you the perfect place to find them and some helpful info in the comments! But here's a bit more in case you're lost: To get to that wizard area, you must use the teleporter by Idal Fane.
Landed on the other side of the hut next to the mountain. You will have to kill one static spawn and possibly a roamer. Need an enchanter or at least will very much help if you do.
Mass killing yielded mostly junk and the following gemstones:
Uncut Black Jade Gemstone
Uncut Dark Citrine Gemstone
Uncut Patterned Topaz Gemstone
Uncut Star Spinel Gemstone
Uncut Shadow Turquoise Gemstone
Uncut Nova Zircon Gemstone
Uncut Rose Quartz Gemstone
Raw Black Pearl
Raw Spiral Amber
Zero reason to camp these mobs, unless you're going for the matriarch. Regular drakes drop absolutely nothing except a couple random alchemy ingredients (corroded ring, half eaten foot, drake blood) no idea what any of them are for yet.
I was able to get behind the wall. You will see 3 skeletol protectors (grey to lvl 24). When you open the chest they will attack you and the chest gets closed. You have to be quick to get the quest item out. It is called „Golden Fife of Travel“ . The quest item remained in my inventory after finishing the quest.
-5 Endurance Why would anyone use these?
Totally Defeats the purpose of Advancing Tradeskill, which is to make better stuff
2 extra slots for 5 less endurance WTF?
I have left the crumbling alone to depop at 19, and had bowman pop in stead of the shambling at about 20 game time, still giving you enough time for another pop with a quick kill of the PH.
Must be randomly placed. Mine spawned at 3033, 3789. It's a tiny dark brown bag and always somewhere on the island that the shaman scrolls and traits are on. Just found another after I gathered mine at 3018, 3804 so there's multiple to find too
Hurt Stick was updated and now provides +36 Physical Crit Rating (~2%) instead of +18% Physical Crit Chance. Must have been godly to dual wield them while it lasted
neither tailoring nor leatherworking have an equivalent yet. I believe you just make a normal t3 item but instead of the iron bar you put the blood iron
This dagger does not give +2 int. It doesn't even require the dust needed for stats.
stats are:
One-Handed Dagger
5 Physical Damage 2.4 Delay
Class: Warrior, Rogue, Wizard, Ranger, Enchanter, Shaman, Summoner, Necromancer, Bard
Ever since finishing Lieutenants of Greed, I have not seen the items appearing for Lost Cargo, checking all shards many times over the past week. I'm 90% sure I bugged Lost Cargo by finishing Lieutenants of Greed.
I made a spreadsheet of every name in the Shala Database and have nearly talked to them all now. Although I skipped Skydurbin. I don't want to have to do this every patch. I think I'll just finish up the list then assume its not in the game until I see it in patch notes.
Invis'd down and got it to drop on first try on enchanter. Seems like a 25% spell damage bonus for 15 seconds on a 1 min CD. Turns you into a skeleton during the duration and lightly damages you as well.
I just got it from a supply crate on a ledge near the elkhorn frogs across the water from Availia. The ledge also has asherite ore deposit on it. Goodluck!!
these things hit HARD, they have very little hp but they are mean. at lvl 26 their auto-attack does 60 damage mitigated 7 so it hit for 53, but there are 2 of them and it ate me up pretty quick since i only have 306hp as a summoner.

Hey! I've watched some of your streaming content cause I'm maining a monk. Pretty good guide of the basics here.
We do get Windpole at 29, although it seems from my testing to be broken at the moment and not applying the debuff.
You'll need to climb; either run through the upper skeleton camp, bang a left and start climbing, or climb up from the below the skeletons toward the newbie area if they're not grey.
As of February 2025 Invisibility has a random chance to disappear instantly on its own as the timer gets lower. I believe it can only happens when the remaining timer is 6 minutes or less. (or is it *under* 6 minutes? I'm not sure). So you want to refresh it often whenever you're in a safe spot to do so.
Dragging corpses or looting chests (!!) won't break invisibility. Casting any spell will.
The current stats of this ring have changed unfortunately :) - 3 int, 15 mana, 18 spell crit rating. Btw, I imagine there are different rewards for classes, not just 2 versions. Can anyone confirm?
#2 coords r exactly right and you don't need a group. Solo on my 14 shammy. Just watch pathing and single pull 1 mob to clear. Go out the front gate of TF and take a right. Hug the wall right below skelly area until you get to a little nook with some trees and some bees. Climb up in the very corner. Had to kill a couple mobs on way up. Just keep climbing and heading right.
Rumored to be around a 20% damage increase buff, that you can always have active. I'd say 20% is about correct, based on my testing, but hard to tell without a proper parser.
Yep nice idea. I did consider doing this in the site software at one point (pretty much like linking drops from mobs, we could link vendor items from NPCs). Still could do but it would probably just be for "rare" vendor items, ie not linking a flask of water to every single NPC which would be a bit of a waste of time. Will think about it.
The short answer is because you (or anyone) haven't provided us with it :) Everything is manually entered.
The longer and more helpful answer is, as well as the above, because I don't think tracking every single schematic and recipe is currently a very good use of time for us. There are thousands of schematic/recipe combinations, and VR are still making heavy adjustments to them in every single patch. We have absolutely no chance of keeping up. Most recipes we enter have a high chance of being inaccurate again in a few weeks.
We have limited manpower for updating things on this site (like about 10 people have access, and only 3 or 4 are really active) and I think the time is better spent recording mobs/interesting drops. Certainly that's what I spend my time doing when I'm not developing the site software.
Until at least launch my view is that a few well-designed publicly shared spreadsheets are a better way to record crafting recipes. I would be happy to link to them in a guide or a dedicated crafting page or something. If anyone wants to explore this idea further please get on Discord :) I should probably put this somewhere more prominent instead of letting it get buried in the comment system!
Camped him for two days last week, no pops. Came out tonight just to look around and he was fighting cave entrance Shady Outdoorsman. Dropped the fang...
He is in Thronefast, its roughly a 15% chance drop for sword. lvl 25 every time we seen him. 15min +/- Spawn time on PH. Griffon in the back is the only place we seen him spawn.
I got lucky today. just started about 2 hours in Goblin caves and 1 hour outside in TF. decided to go back in Goblin caves and found it. only about 10 Supply crates total.
It's silly that at the level you get this quest...trying to get to Halnir caves, let alone even be able to harvest any inside is nye impossible. There have got to be other areas.
There have got to be other places. I mean, at the level you get the quest to harvest these....you can't even go past the entrance of Halnir; and if there isnt a group fighting at the entrance....its a no go.
You were really lucky to get it in 5 kills.
It usually takes a little while...I have had luck but that was in killing 40-60 or so on 2 different characters.
Spawns on top of the temple just south of the brazier in the middle.
Placeholder appears to be a steam mage. Not 100% sure if it's always a steam mage.
Bonus: This can HEAL your group or Defensive Target if the spell supports it, so be cognizant of your Defensive Target when preparing to use the ability.
Bonus: This works against enemies with the Iron Willed Trait, so it can be an effective interrupt against those difficult targets.
Warning: There is a known bug with spells that summon or call a pet to aid you in your attack. The summoned pet will attack you or someone else in your party, not your target.
This is not rank 45 weaving. Schematic in-game states that it requires 63 Weaving for the single craft, however when a trying to craft it the game states you need 60 Weaving to craft. So I guess it's Actually 60.
The Simple Ashen Bronze Maul is 17dmg / 4.1 delay. The weight is 7.1.
This recipe no longer requires Ashen Bronze Weapon Cladding.
This recipe has a required weaponsmithing skill of 30.
Info current as of 2-15-2025.
Players con'ing this mob as lt. blue to white...beware...they may look very doable, and with range weapons and spells they present little trouble....but melee...they backstab...even when facing you....and it will take you from hero to zero in one hit.
I guess ive been unlucky because 4 days of farming them maybe upwards of 60 kills. and no drop - not a single scroll.
I'm lvl 14 - am i doing it wrong :P?
Went up to spawn area and he was up. He spawns down to left of top cave entrance when facing. There is a cave below that is not the area. Down to left there is a tree with a bush on the left. He spawns to the right of this tree then paths up to the cave entrance. Was a Rockeater PH. THEY ARE SOCIAL BEWARE! He (Drog) will call those around him so clear the others if near the cave or fight him safely where he spawns. I got the Shoulder twice in an hour he spawned twice in 5 spawns. I gave the camp to another wanting the Map piece. I wanted that and the shield. Will camp it later to try and get shield. Blessings to all and I hope they stop the stupid fog/rain/dark. BTW a box spawns above the cave entrance to the right. walk around and it slopes up and can curve around back toward the cave entrance slightly above it at the very end almost where you can jump from the ledge to the cave entrance top a box spawns. Had a map quest start piece in it.
Actual spawn location is 2434 912 -583 ish, he is one that spawns on the south east side torch and then paths around. Also seems to have a really low spawn rate compared to the witch
no it comes automatically as you level up. Any skill that says requires primary weapon skill of X will be rewarded automatically once you reach that weapon skill
Recipe: Fox fur, simple leather strap, Resilience-infused leather breeches basis
There is also a schematic for the Agent's Cap, with the recipe: crow feather, simple leather strap, acuity-infused leather cap basis
The schematics to craft these currently drop from treasure chests in Avendyr's Pass. See the Kingsreach map and select to show only treasure chests in the legend.
Done this 2 times today on 2 different characters. I did indeed get 20 rabbit skillets on both characters. I did notice that the mission stated that you should only get 3.
I found one just west of the spawn point on the Map, near the water. I guess they either spawn in an area near the spawn point on the map or something. Night last long enough just search the entire valley there and you should find one.
The correct skeleton is the Crumbling Skeleton from Avalia starting area where the Mage Tower is. I killed Shambling for an hour no bone. I went over to the Mage Tower and killed 2 Crumbling and it dropped.
The 2nd spawnpoint got removed with the map update on Feb. 13th. He still can spawn in the tunnel on the northern side of the dragon mountain at 2870/2160
These are a great mob to farm for a squishy, or if you're a pet class barely paying attention. They seem to rely on auto attacks for damage, and they just attack for like 1-2 every 2-3 seconds, a rogue could comfortably tank these
really powerful spell. At lvl 18 I'm easily doing over 500 damage in a single cast. WARNING: Make sure your fire, cold, and shock focus replenish utilities are recharged. Once you cast this spell at full effect it will eat all 15 widgets of your spell focuses. cast your three fire, cold, and shock focus utilities to instantly replenish and you are good to go.
Farmed a 2nd one for my wizard. Farming took 3 hours on Feb 1st, 6 hours Feb 9th, 3 hours Feb 11, and finally 5 minutes Feb 13th to get a second one 12h5m. Didn't pay attention to what mob dropped it. GOOOOOOOD LUCK! keep sane!
It seems to me like generally the Fire Orb familiar is better to use, 10% more damage is usually better than 10% more penetration. However, if you're fighting orange+ con mobs or something more likely to resist your spells then I use this one
In the codex this is listed as a level 22 spell, but I am pretty sure the scroll says 24. I didn't try to learn it until I was 24 so not sure which is the actual casting or learning requirement
This spell represents one of the strangest decisions I've seen in an MMO. In previous iterations of the lighting system the devs apparently decided there were too many people using torches and magelight and other lighting effects simultaneously. To discourage use of the spell they changed it to be really, really bad. Instead of disabling or removing the spell, it's just not very useful as a light and actively eats away your MP. I wish I was making this up
This spell was bugged for a couple weeks prior to the Unity 6 patch, but since the patch it is working again, but differently than before.
Previously you were able to cast invis while invis without breaking it, this has been fixed.
For a week or two invis was completely broken, putting you into a rogue's stealth animation and not seemingly not affecting aggro at all, since the Unity 6 patch though invis is very strong, as a level 27 mage I can dance right under the Ancient Thorn Titan and he cares not. I haven't found a mob yet that will aggro while you're invis. Prior to the patch that broke invis, it seemed like touching mobs or sprinting too close would still aggro.
You can't harvest from resource nodes while invis, but you can drag your body and loot from treasure chests.
If you're thinking of going invis and stealing all the chests in Hanggore, just know that environmental damage effects will break your invis. On an ENTIRELY unrelated note, any summoners or necros in AVP?
Dropped Chaotic Imbuement in ~20 kills, then bought Invisibility and Gate from the Wizard trainer (the scroll itself is usable from any class having access to the spell).
With the 3 spawns points fairly close together and shard hopping you can chain kill them with little pause.
It's a Technique, and they're learned once you reach the given level and skillup your weapon to match. Just go beat on some mobs until your weapon skill is maxed and it should be added to your codex automatically.
As of today, Feb12 patch you can get the starting map fragment out of the supply crates that spawn around the starter town. I got mine from the second crate I opened (the one under the aqueduct).
Don't think I would play with wizards that roll on melee daggers and dire lords that roll on priest gloves. Y'all need to find some better party members.
Unless Shamans have a cold damage spell, I'm guessing this is a fire damage buff based on the classes. It's the only type of damage shamans and wizards would have in common.
As a shaman. I have been here for three days grouped and solo. Not seen one caster or healer drop, but I have outfitted a monk with spare parts, only missing gloves, even outfitted my little tank, but nothing for my shaman at all. still in crude leather mostly. one of Lifes little rules. you never get what you want but some times, you get what you need.
How simple it is to use the Spell Turn spell as an Enchanter!
The spell appears as it's spell icon does in the spell book, when put on your ability bar. Anytime the enemy cats a spell or attacks with an ability which can be interrupted, the icon will change colors to a light red icon. If during the enemies cast you activate the spell turn ability the icon either will start its cooldown and change to a greyed out ability if the spell/skill cant be cast back on the enemy, or it will change color once again to a much brighter red color to indicate the spell is ready to be cast back, To cast the spell back you simply hit the ability hotkey or button again to complete the cast within the time frame allotted.
In many instances if you tune your combat window to only show YOUR actions, it is easily visible what the result is by showing the spells effects or resists a though it was originally your spell to cast!
Enchanters also get Spell Turn, which in most cases at the very least will Interrupt Skills and always spells in my experience. There are a few melee skills or mob abilities that it can not interact with, however it's a small percentage. In the best situations, once it interrupts a spell or skill, it will absorb that ability and the caster will have a time period in which to cast the absorbed ability back at the target, or another target, and even aim the resultant effects at a party member (for instance you might throw a DD spell at your enemy and benefit from a heal spell cast on your defensive target).
On top of this, when you use it on spells or skills which leverage skills you typically never possess in your class or race, it increases your skill in that ability.
I am at least 40 kills into Larcs at this point. Is anyone able to confirm he still drops Bone-Handled Battle Axe, and if he does, can stats be confirmed? Particularly the 2.0 Delay
If I'm not mistaken this is actually from "schematic: simple armor harness" which only requires outfitting rank 60 (not 63).
The item itself is name correctly, just not the referenced schematic.
its not 18 crit. its 1%. it actually doesshowas 18 crit in stats, but its not. cosmetic error, will be adjusted soon i guess.
or if its right, which i am 99.9% sure its not, it currenlty doesnt give the 18 in reality.
Been here for 2 weeks or so, got multiples (2,3,4,5,6+) of every piece except for Greenmyst Gloves, can anyone confirm they actually are on the non-elite drop table?
i am prolly going to camp this for another day or so whhile i work, but i'm starting to think the spells are not on this mob, or they're a REALLY rare drop from any of thes goblins? i dont know
The spells are the rare drop for sure.
ive killed this mob ~30 times now, and seen 2 copies of Wind Strider..
if this is the only mob dropping the resist spells then this is crazy
drops are there when not transfomration. i get the feeling that the chest breaks when transform, removing that from loot table. anyone can confirm? might be same with ring at wycan for night olny?
I don't know if there's any in WE (yet..?). There's quite a lof of Tascium in the Goblin Caves in TF. You can show them on our map; on the right-hand sidebox expand Mining then click Tascium and scroll around looking for the pink dots :)
Currently, you only need to do the 1st quest 'An Enchanted Quill' and after completing that quest, close the inventory and reopen it and then the Frost Glyphs are available for purchase. There is no benefit to completing this quest or his next quest (except for coin? but It was 10 silver not 1 gold) as it will not unlock any further tiers beyond Lesser. (Yet?)

Here is the joy for all you peeps spending lots of time harvesting maple to make boxes and other such useful items.....it takes 180 maple logs to complete this quest...and when you turn it in...you keep 0.
Tent > from town go to cross roads, continue then go past bind stone, then cross bridge. take first right and follow to the Gadai camp, there is a tent on the left with a fire. the item spawns behind the tent
lvl 6 warrior, just got it after 20 times. I wasent strong enough, luckily a group got up to me and helped me by tanking it, real legendary moment, they then added me to group and blasted it down.
Dropped ring first kill.
Has anyone gotten one lately or can reconfirm? Ive been camping the guys by the direlord starting point for around 7 hours no with not a single one dropping.
Confirmed Gloom infected rats spawn at the upper and lower corrupted skelly area. Not a guaranteed drop but 2 of us killed about 6 and got 2 drops. Possible PH are ghost vipers but I cannot confirm the PH.
Was here for 20 minutes, dropped gloves and it was amazing; except that the dire lord rolled for it and got higher... not sure why he wanted it but go for it man
it's pretty absurd to be hearing that some people are up to nearly 200 crates without seeing this item. are we absolutely sure there's nothing special to get it to drop? maybe we need to be looting the crates at a specific time of day
I've found 3 spawns for this mob so far, all relatively close to each other in or around "boar alley" :
1) 3714 , 3101 between two rocks just west of the spire near where "A Jacked Rabbit" spawns.
2) 3760 , 3022 in the valley just south of the spire near where "A Jacked Rabbit" spawns, and
3) 4010, 2940 between two rocks near the hill by the river near where "Zirus the Bonewalker" spawns.
Update to above post. I only had the minor glyphs which did not have enough cold protection. The Lessor Glyphs helped considerably. Did they add these recently as I had not noticed them available until after the Unity 6 patch.
Got one of these from smelting Glittering Slytheril, but it's not immediately apparent what it's for. It doesn't sell for that much to a vendor (like 1s 75c or something), so I'm hanging onto it indefinitely I guess, lol. My assumption is that it will ultimately be used in Jewelcraft once that comes back online.
I was looking all over, digging up wild herbs trying to find Silverleaf. Luckily a friend asked for blackberries to make either food or potions i can't remember, and found the silverleaf digging up blackberries! So if you need a sprig of silverleaf, go dig up blackberry bushes.
It seems they have adjusted the mild frigid zone to stop some distance prior to the cave and it gets much worse. Does it go back to being mild deeper in the cave? If not, how are people expected to fight there way through there AND deal with the extra cold?
It seems buggy if you loot it off your corpse. It refreshes properly if you unequip then reequip or zone or logout and back in. This is a problem with all Carry weight bags.
Got this last night Feb 7 2025 after killing Nydar one time.
The damage shield does about 9 damage per hit, but some of it gets mitigated
I did a quick test vs a grey con mob and the damage shield does not seem to generate noticeable readiness
Dropped 3 clubs, 1 shoulders and map fragment since I've camped him today. No dice on the shield :(
Tons of PH's. Seems to spawn on average 1 time per 4-5 PH spawns.
Slighty interesting tidbit, might mean something, might not. We killed him last night, once where he looked like the mob in the screenshot (Monkly) and once where he was shirtless and looked like a wild man wearing furs. The time he looked like a monk, he dropped his monk chest piece, and the time he looked like a mountain man, he dropped the gloves. Might mean something, might not, just thought I'd mention it.
Im sure that comes into play, but I just peek in the cave when running to HC or Orcs and Ive found him up 4 times in 2 weeks. Dropeed the knife 2x and legs 2x. Sadly both are lore so was able to get a guildie to loot knife, but I /ooc the pants 20 mins ago and no reponse I think they rotted. Ive never killed any mobs when I saw him. Hope this helps.
I would figure its for a quest, I sold it the first time I looted and when I saw it sold for 18silver, thats when I thought it might have value, I just got another and will hang on to it for a bit.
Camped for about an hour, dropped the Gossamer Cord.
Like someone above also mentioned, be careful killing these near the pillars as the corpse can get bugged inside of them and become unlootable.
I was able to get to this today as a 21 cleric. They were grey to me, and did not agro. The trick is, on the invisible wall, move all the way to the left, until you start to climb the left side. Then you can move up a bit, and shimmy inward towards your right.
Once inside, i just swam towards the chest from above, and floated down, and looted. Unfortunately, the only thing in the chest was a gemstone, and no quest item.
Would like to mention that when a Necro reaches level 18, they are able to summon a level 20 pet through the bone chip lottery. That pet has the Bash ability. If the Necro turns off the pet's bash auto-cast and sets their own keybind, They get access to a second interrupt that can be used every 20 seconds.
While crippling terror can be used as an interrupt in a pinch, it costs 4% of the Necro's mana, generates a fair bit of threat, and will sometimes allow the enemy to instant cast a follow up spell.
hope its a bug but all the weps i have seen so far are the same ones from orc pass same names and all.
same 2h hammer 18dam 1str 1agi
same 1h club 6dam 1agi 6mana
same 1h club 8dam 1wis 1agi
I truly don't know how your mining can be 110 and you have never seen any of these. I'm level 19, which is like a mining skill of 57 or something around there, and I have a bank full of all types of gems. What did you do, level straight to 40 and then mine 110 nodes to get the skill to 110 and then stopped? lol. Seems fishy.
This tracks. I did it as a Rogue so I was stealthed the whole time. Skeletons ignored me and because Rogues are OP when it comes to looting chests, I looted the chest in stealth and /stucked outta there. Probably an exceptionally dangerous task for any non-Rogue, haha.
In theory, yes? But it's extremely dangerous, lots of high level mobs that'll smoke you in a second, and in my experience, nearly every node is being guarded by a mob. So, assuming you could dodge the mobs well enough to stay alive, and ALSO find a node NOT guarded by a mob, then you could probably successfully harvest some. But it is not gonna be easy...
If you haven't killed any Orc Wanderers (avoid them) his wolves won't attack you. But as soon as you start attacking any lost orc, including those in the valley they will become hostile to you.

First, make the Asherium Kite Shield Blank.
Second, make the Shield Brace.
Third, make the crude Kite Shield. Turn that in to Trias. He walks up and down the path between Priest Alimar and the tavern.
Gloom-Infect Rat Reward: +225 Exp 3sp75cp
Upon killing a single Gloom-Infected Rat at the Skeleton camp outside of town, I looted a
Gloom-Infected Blood
which I was able to turn in to complete the quest.
There doesn't appear to be another quest in the line.
Update, managed to glitch through, it goes black, still inside water, skeletons will attack if you go through them but managed to feign as mnk 23, cant target chest anywhere, trying to climb some walls but leads to nothing.
Most of these come from treasure chests which are dotted around the world. You can see them on the map if you turn on the checkbox for Treasure Chest (on the right)
Found a spot I could teleport through the invisible wall with Essence Thief. But yeah, as I approach it all turns pitch black, and the skeletons aggro despite conning grey. Got my ass beat. I do not recommend trying to cheese your way into this.
He spawns at 3694, 4085 - this is his only spawnpoint. He spawns at night. At 1900, Backwood Boal despawns. Between 1900 and 2000, Pog/dweller spawn at this location. He then paths through the aqueduct, through the noob area, almost to the frogs and then stops and turns around and heads back to his spawn. He is a 15 minute respawn.
three's some RNG involved. if it makes you feel any better I killed drog's placeholder five times before he spawned, took over an hour of camping. honestly an hour camping in this game, like EQ, is small potatoes
I've killed the PH four times now and nothing. Is there a special ritual I should be doing? Do I need to make a burnt offering? Should I pay the rockeater to go find Drog?
This item can be purchased from a (Supplier) vendor: Anela in Sorhyrith in Wild End at the top of the tree on the center platform behind the bank is just one of the vendors.
I killed 100 of these and these were my drops;
Bee Honey 15
Beeswax 37
Bee Stinger 7
Bee Venom 11
Large Wasp Wing 9
Mastery Shard 1
The stinger, venom and wing are all trash items to be sold for copper.
I waited 30 minutes, he spawned in my face, but then he died running away into one of the stone spikes around the altar.
I couldn't loot the corpse, couldn't target it, and so I basically lost a plat-- that's what his gear goes for on Black Moon.
I wonder, are they just going to delete the Nightbane Robe newbie quest so all other robes aren't a joke? +18 spell crit IS 1% spell crit. This robe gains you around 2-3 mana and deprives you of .4% crit rating since each int/wis stat is +.2% crit. Is lousy int caster itemization hatred or balance?
This was added in May 2024 and used to drop from Zaruk the Sightweaver. But it's not had any substantial updates in a long time so it may have been removed.
If you're doing this quest in Wild's End you go talk to Kaia(Tailor) (shes SW of Malia) by right clicking and looking at her inventory which causes the quest to auto update. Then just return to Malia for your sweet reward.
I was really hoping the fife was going to be some sort of clicky to return to bind point or home spot (think Origin in EQ), but nah. I showed him the fife, got a pittance amount of xp and coin, and that was it. No further quest (yet?). Quite a bit disappointing, considering how much work I put into this quest line. He mentioned "being able to do something with it" but I ended up still in possession of the fife after the turn-in, but it doesn't appear to have any purpose right now.
I was actually able to just complete this quest. Just like Stormcrow505 mentions above, there is an invisible wall, but somehow I was able to get past it. I just kept swimming against it and up and around and somehow eventually I found myself past it. I don't know. But just as the quest text says, there were 3 skeletons "guarding" the chest, but the chest was there, and was lootable, and the fife was in there, and I took it back to Dorion and got the exact reward listed.
82 Kills later idol dropped.. Seems to be around a 35% increase in damage for the duration of 20 seconds. The moment I click it all active dots currently on the target increase in damage. Blood Taps went from 250 to 340 on the same target(Yellow cons Level 38's) and well over 500's crits.
Found a spider in the grass just east of Master Borra. It dropped a fang. Per DanYlson above it sounds like any spider could be a placeholder for this?
how do you learn blood iron . black iron temper?
is it a quest to learn about it? reason i am asking is tailoring has nothing like that to my knowledge
i think you should make the spoilers hidden under a dropdown instead. impossible to use this as a resource on a second monitor if they have to be hovered to reveal
Pretty sure this is a named. Killed it twice and got loot each time. Got the stompers once and also got Grimy Leather Jerkin, Unique Magic, Leather AC15 AGI+1 DEX +1 for warr, rog, clr, pal, dl, rng, dru, shm, bard
Cons aggressive but does not attack and cannot be attacked. Will speak with you even though mouse cursor has sword.
He has two wolves on either side of him which are like level 20 (higher lvl than orc is). Named Luta and Huna. They Can be attacked/will attack you.
Killing either of the wolves will increase your standing with the North Tusk Orc faction (for some reason?)
No idea how many times you'd have to kill them to no longer be KoS in Hangore
Can confirm, this is how I just got there minutes ago. First time I'd ever seen these, so I came here to look them up. Had no idea they existed until literally 5 minutes ago, ha! But yes, I was in Thronefast, climbed a mountain, and then hit one of those odd zone lines into AVP, then climbed up the cliff and at the top was these ancestrals. Kinda want to bring a group here now and see if we can get a named to spawn or something.
Yeah, the position of it in the vendor list has it where level 5 scrolls should be, and for the price of level 5 scrolls. However, it shows a level requirement of level 10 on the scroll. I attempted to use it anyway at level 9, but it does indeed require level 10. And there was no other variant that actually had a level 5 requirement. I looked through every scroll for the enfeeblement version and couldn't find anything.
You're seeing this at 10? We had a post in Discord with it at 5.. Maybe there's an upgrade at 10?
It took me a few visits to finally find them. I think they just have a forever respawn. At 30 you can run around freely(unless a named is up), 29 still has some greens. Also when you turn it in it takes you back a step on Lieutenants of Greed. You have to get them twice lmao
This quest relies heavily on luck. I'm closing in on level 26, and have yet to find this item to further the quest. There are just not enough chests that spawn down in Goblin Caves for this quest to feasibly rely on a chance to drop. FIX IT!
Located north of Availia. Take the path towards the Dire Lord trainers. Once at the top move North East and down the path. The Ulthiran Camp is located at the bottom.
Bonus: There is a chest in the camp.
The sundervine grazers are confirmed lvl 24-26. A great spot to kill these is at 3600, -145 in EP, which is safe from roamers and there are 6 spawn points nearby. You can continue further East or North for more spawns. These mobs also do not kill on site, which is nice.
I had 2+ of every gem, except Topaz. Ended up just buying and overpaying for the topaz. I have an 8 slot bag in my bank that is full of ore, if that gives you an idea.
No idea at all where to find this. Have opened I dunno how many supply crates and looked in towns and on crates and tables. Have never seen one or seen anyone selling one or anything.
I can confirm that it does drop; i gated back to my bindstone outside HC only for the Wildspell to be running by. First time I ever saw him, so I ran him down and killed him, he dropped this and a bunch of trash items (a cloth robe and a staff, neither had stats).
There is a sinister feralbone - level 7 undercon - drops 3 items so far - weathered baton 4dm 2.5 delay +1 sta - dirt riden belt 6ac +1 dex - moldy bracer 6ac +1str
I've camped the spawn by demith for several nights with no spawns so I tried the other spawn for atleast 3 nights. No spawns there either at night. I've killed all the PH bats. I don't get it.
Use the /time command to check the in-game time.
Kill the placeholder (PH) at 15:00 in-game time (add an extra minute for safety).
This will cause it to respawn at the start of nighttime, at 18:00 in-game time.
At this point, you have a chance to trigger the Bowman spawn.
If the skeleton spawns instead, kill it quickly.
Set a 16-minute timer to catch the final respawn of the night, assuming everything was timed correctly.

Has anyone ever seen the armor sets listed above that are not associated with boss drops? I have been in this dungeon around a dozen times and have never seen a drop. It might be that I just haven't been deep enough.
He was just KoS to me. I was able to attack and kill him. He cons orange to me at lvl 22. So probably level 25-26? He's a group mob, but only does 1-3 dmg auto attacks. Experience from killing him is NOT proportional for it being a group mob. Gave me about 2% exp when killing him. Whereas had I solo'd an actual orange con group mob i'd probably get 5xs that lol.

Can confirm you need to hand in 'Crude Kite Shield'. You need to make it using an Asherium Kite Shield. Then the rest of parts buy through supplier next to forge.
Does anyone know the respawn time on the supply crates?
I have a suspicion that they seem to be variable. I opened one right after another on two different shards. I remained camp by one for almost 5 hours without seeing it (pretty sure I didn't miss it, but can't be 100%). However, when I changed shard, there was a chest. So I either missed it (which is possible), or the respawn time is variable.
I am recording this current session on OBS to get a better idea and/ or see if I miss one while briefly afk
I also can't find anything. I've looked at the hints above at all the waypoints and have found nothing. I suppose it's possible someone else has recently picked them up, but there are not that many people this level clearing this fort, it would be hard for me to believe they've been recently picked up...
Edit: Okay I guess it's true, they do exist. I went to a different Shard and checked again and lo and behold, there they were.
On Plate Gloves: Enforcer is Strength/Agility; Crusader is Strength/Health; Expeditionary is Strength/Endurance; Stalwart's is Stamina/Endurance.
On Plate Legs: Temple Greaves are Stamina/Agility
On Plate Boots: Vanguards are Constitution/Hit Rating
Thank you for your reply. If I look at a resource like this or p99 wiki, I expect to find quests to be spoiled. I appreciate that others might not, especially in a game like this where, for example, they might want to read the quest text from the NPC while not being near them to check in game. And they might be against finding out things that they would consider spoilers.
I am not sure how easy this would be to implement, but is it possible to set this globally so people can toggle spoilers on or off?
At any rate, I know what the blurry text means now.
Thanks!
Note of caution. I received the first fragment quite a while ago, turned it in and started the next step. I found all 4 pieces recently, went to turn in and discovered I could not, the quest requires the original piece as well for a total of 5 to turn in. I thought perhaps I had a corpse somewhere, so I went shard to shard every single zone i've ever been in to locate. 0 corpses. I've reached out to the GM's and have finally received a response. "We will not be restoring any lost or bugged items, nor resetting any quest states". Just a word of caution, no idea how I the original piece, but it's been several weeks of it in my inventory.
Thanks for the feedback. This is actually a discussion we've having internally at the moment - how much to worry about spoilering?
I originally wanted to err on the side of caution and give people the choice about whether to spoiler themselves (hence the tags) and aim the site more towards a reference of easily-accessible knowledge. Meaning if the game spells it out, we'll reference it freely. But if you have to work it out, not so much.
We've had a few people now saying this probably isn't necessary and it should be implied that visiting a site like this will reveal spoilers, so perhaps we'll re-evaluate the use of these tags.
No worries! My thought mainly came from varying opinions I get from folks on my server re: how early one can go to Hangore. The earliest I've heard is 23 as a stretch... 24 as the suggested minimum... and then 26 as a minimum for someone who's a bit more conservative. If it helps. :)
The quest text (on this page) being hidden behind spoilers was very confusing - I figured out it was placeholder text.
People are here to read how to do the quest, it doesn't need to be hidden.
From the Scribe guy standing right with the entrance to Avendyrs Pass, when you enter Avendyrs Pass zone. Gives you a quest to obtain a quill from the Goblins in the goblin cave
Easiest way to get her, is to kill the bees in the area Rilo spawns. Killed her over a dozen times, and have got 5 spears. don't need to kill bees in lower area for her to spawn
Tried to solo this mob as an ENC and it was IMMUNE to ALL CC (was NOT iron willed either!). Root, Stuns, Mez, none of it worked. Can anyone else confirm if this mob can be CC'ed? Maybe the one I got was just bugged?
Thanks for pointing it out. Yes, it's from PRE-EA. There is a note at the start of the guide about the outdated information. We're still leveling up and arriving in HG. There will be some updates and a note in the changelog soon.
Also has a proc ,
Sleek battlewraps that cause your fists to move silently trhough the air.

We farmed Feathered Wind Blade PH for 8 hours. We killed on all 4 shards of Black Moon. Respawn every 15 minutes. 128 spawns.
Out of 128 spawns we saw 15% as named griffon. 2 wind blades. Approximately 10% drop rate. As of 1/27/2025.
Killed today, at 3865.88 -1915.47 after clearing the wasp camp two times. Spawned directly under the tree. Was Orange con at level 8. Killed with a full party of 7-10's. Dropped Royal Sting but no Royal Honey.
I have found three nodes that have spawned in Thronefast, Coordinates: 3836.35, 551.92, 2889.12, 185.
Just inside the cave by/below the camp where Larcus the Weaponsmith spawns.
Not sure why the schematic for this is missing, but it's a rank 60 Outfitter schematic that requires x3 thick leather strips, x1 gossamer thread, x1 scale glue. All purchasable via the supplier.
This is the "Bow Grip"/"Simple Bow Grip" that all the bow schematics require.
Has anyone seen any difference from ((Arcane Rod: Off-Balance -> Vulnerable))?
I question whether this is working at all; the numbers are the same for me before/after.
Went and spoke to Snowfall Dagae, she just had the standard "Well met traveler" response.
Returning to Inquisitor Taelavore after that, he now says, "Mmm, you certainly aren't from the Tyrusa family. Their slavish envorys always smell like Diodia, the matriarch. This is good, for both of us."
Has a couple other random comments, one about Tyrusas hounds, and something about him helping an errand boy and now he's annoyed.
Not all quest reward will be balanced, some will favor certain classes over others, you don't need to do every quest, plus this isn't even beta yet, there will be many more quests and more areas. Like right now casters can quest a really nice robe, melee doesn't have an equal quest for a nice chest piece.
I've opened easily 100 goblin junk stashes and seen about 80 Broken Weapons (which I can't take because I haven't found whatever quest that's tied to). But no Dusty Maps. Gonna lose it.
Isn't that how Epic weapons worked in EQ ? one person benefits from having a raid group for one item that probably wont even drop lol. This game is being leniant.
we got one shortly after this post. 5 hours seems to be close to what it is. We took a guys spot over and I assume he killed him right before we took it over. You might be lucky. You might not be. Have fun out there.
The Rusted Longsword dropped from Crumbling Skeleton near Availia. Not sure if it was coincidence but it looked to be carrying a longsword before battle.
Two days of farming. 14-16min PH respawn, I believe the 15% spawn rate mentioned above is quite accurate. Ritual Clobberer is definitely the common drop.
He only spawns at night so you kill the skeleton PHs at night and leave them alone in the day so you dont have to wait for them to spawn when night comes
If you go to Hssyr the Wretch's page here and look at the comments, I've posted the details on this item to include a quick data feed of what the Bleeding proc does.
Level range seems to be 24-26 (seen dark blue, even and yellow at 25, all on numerous occasion).
Skinning yields various qualities of "Bird Skin", as well as "Grazer Meat".
Highest density seen is in the valley just north of the Green tent Rulu camp.
I understand they want to make stuff hard and difficult to obtain, but this isn't just being hard, it's getting a group of people to put some serious time in, so that one person can benefit, that's just wrong.
Any idea when he spawns? And if it's true you just leave the placeholders alone? That seems wrong to me... normally you want to kill the PH so the spawn can occur again.
There is no way this is 8 dmg and drops off a mob in the starter zone.... I am camping this mob currently for this, as it's Double the damage of the 4g arrow from the weapon merchant. Will update if I actually locate this in-game....
These are nearly a year old so I'll hazard a guess they're gone and mark them as such until we hear otherwise. If they are still in game they're almost certainly not 4int / 3cha anymore!
I was able to make the draughts. What threw me off was that the ingredients did not hop into the slots like with other trade skills. I had to manually put the items in the "portable alchemy kit" (at the laboratory table) in these slots.

It’s a nightmare :(
We have a group of 6 people to complete the quest.
The quest update takes place after killing bosses and finding evidence in Fort Gadai.
Stood about 5 hours, waiting for the arrival of moba. In 5 more hours he appeared 1 time and gave the update of the quest only 1 member of the group.
To complete the quest, you have to kill 3 bosses and find 3 clues in the camp. A group of 6 people has to kill 27 times three different bosses + find clues in the camp.
With this update, the quest becomes very boring and long. The reward does not match the difficulty of the task.
Can I update a group, not 1 member?
These drop off of the "Large Brown Rats". I haven't had an issue finding the whiskers once I found the right rat to kill. There are a few close to to AVP zone line.
In my honest opinion think they reverted the drops/chance on the windblade, 9 days ago I killed him 3 times and got the blade 3 times in a row. Today killed him 3 times got it once.
This mob has THREE spawn locations. I will reference them as #1, #2, and #3 below. The thing most people don't realize about this mob is that there is more than one spawn because TWO of them (#2 and #3) aggro the nearby Ogre Infiltrator mobs and die about 25% of the time when they path by the Zarnak Stones. Day or Night makes no difference and there are no placeholders for this mob.
Wandering Wildspell #1: Spawns at 2340, 1978 <--- Paths to then turns around at ---> 2461, 1806
Wandering Wildspell #2: Spawns at 2456, 1934 <--- Paths to then turns around at ---> 2647, 1714
Wandering Wildspell #1: Spawns at 2504, 1776 <--- Paths to then turns around at ---> 2576, 1504
Out of roughly 50 kills of these I have seen the Chaotic Imbuement spell drop three times. (Roughly 5% drop rate)

The Schematic for this item claims it requires a "SIMPLE BOW GRIP". No such item exists by that name in the game. What it's ACTUALLY wanting, is a Thick Leather Bow Grip, which is sold by the Fletcher but ONLY CRAFTABLE by an Outfitter (derp!)
This schematic is not sold Anywhere. It's a REQUIRED component of the "SIMPLE CEDAR LONGBOW". Fletcher sells the T4 bow grip schematic, but NOT this one. Apparently based on the "Lifebound" tag above, it's a rare drop from somewhere and it's not tradeable!
I killed the placeholder for about an hour on two different shards before he spawned. My biggest takeaway was that it takes 15 minutes up to 17 minutes for it to spawn. Good luck!
1H Mace just dropped today, 24 JAN, named "Ripsmack" -Unique, Magic-
12 Physical Damage, 2.9 Delay, +1 Strength, +18 Physical Crit Rating
Class: Warrior, Monk, Rogue, Paladin, Ranger, Shaman, Bard.
*** Chance on hit to apply Bleeding Wound. Proc chance increases slightly with dexterity. ***
Flavor text: "An iron mace covered in sharp spikes and dried blood."
Proc did 10-18 dmg per tic, tics can crit with the applied bleed. Tested with a 22 shaman that has 11 Dexterity. Proc landed on 2 mobs out of 4 with the 11 Dexterity. Procced on average after 5-6 hits with a 23 Ranger with 27 Dexterity. Proc can happen and refresh the bleed so that bleed is constant on the target. Full duration dealt 6 tics of damage every 3 seconds per tic.

The group mob system is meant to dissuade people from soloing on camps that are intended for group exp. It works to an extent, but I kill green and sometimes even blue con group mobs solo on dire lord well enough. It's slow and so it's bad exp, which does dissuade from exping on top of camps. But it doesn't really force me to group up with others to take on NMs like this as intended. I killed Krane 3 times solo at level 14.
Agreed, killed him 5 times 4x at the western spawn point 1x at the eastern, both sides he was the bat next to the obelisk / flying around it.
All 5 times he dropped Bat Fur Leggings.
Wizard with Ice Volley doesn't even need to interrupt his life drain you can just kill him through it with 2 casts and the Skeletons don't assist him so just get in range and LoS and nuke him he will cast a drain life and then come to you, blast him again and you're done.
Solod him as a level 19 Wizard, he does quite a lot of damage with waylay like anything else so make sure to interrupt that. You will need all your focus recharge skills up so you can ice volley him down as fast as possible he does significant damage and is a lot harder than anything else in that camp.
Gave up trying to spawn him by killing random mobs so just shard hopped and checked every now & then until I found him wandering in the middle of the camp, walking from inside the house at the lake up the small hill to the left stopping at the fire and then back.
did he spawn or did you give up?
Personally i have seen him often when porting, but never when killing ph. Some strange mechanic here?
Edit: Skip that, killed 5 ph and he spawned on 6.
PH about every 5 mins
3 days of camping, shard hopping, and running around the thronefast but finally got the starting map fragment from the supply crate in the thug camp near the manor. I would estimate it took around 50 crates.
I've seen Larcs the Weaponsmith spawn in more than one place in front of the tents (3949, 518, 2899), so it seems like he has multiple placeholders. In about 2 hours of camping, we spawned him twice on 1/22/2025 (Early Access build).
He dropped the Bearded Axe and Flanged Mace on his two deaths.
During Joppa's stream on Jan 21st he mentioned a low level named mob in Halnir Cave that can drop an ultra-rare 1h Blunt weapon that is better than 1H blunt items dropping from level 30'ish uncommons. I wonder if this "Ripsmack" hammer is the one he was eluding to..

Not aggro to my 15 Dark Myr wizard (he eyes me with a cold stare). There might be some mobs you can kill to improve faction, we've not really mapped out all the factions yet.
Yeah we don't tend to list things that are in "General" and have no use. There's enough other things to add for now! Maybe we'll change that eventually. But to confirm, no, don't believe the dirty ribbon has any use yet.
Confirmed, I also looted the same thing. Does not appear to have any use, and isn't listed on this site (yet?). I sold it to a vendor, hope I don't regret that!
No Glue Pot is needed. You need to buy the Oil Press schematic from the Alchemy vendor to use at the Labratory Table with 5x Flame Lily and 1 Flask of Water to create 5 Flameseed Oil.
This cave area is absolute bullshit and is only there to ruin low level players' days. Stealing experience from players and griefing them if they try to go back and get their corpse. They aggro on you before you even have the chance to see them because they sit around the corner of the 'temple' entrance. For some reason these nearly level 40 KoS mobs hang out right nearby the evil starting area and within the level 5-8 group skeleton camp.
This Guardsman's Bulwark 100% does NOT drop from this guy. We fought him for 2 days for 6 hours each got him 5 times and all he dropped was the mining pick. The blacksmith crafting one is 29 so not worth it for that IMHO. We did finally get this shield though...out of a CHEST in the bottom of HC. If you are looking for this shield don't camp this guy he won't drop it.
Does this double hit currently? I've been noticing that almost every other Bo Staff has an issue where they wont double hit 100% of the time like they should.
Ah this is because he roams, but I agree this isn't the best way to present this information :D I'll see if I can clean up the map while still retaining the data about where he can roam.
you kill wind griffins? cuz it drops from windfeather (named mob).
killed it 3 times (in the last hour), dropped 1 blood, 1 talon and 1 sword
Edit: killed it another time, nothing at all, wow
does the axe drop any more? over the last 3 days my group has camped this boss just for the axe and nothing we spent ll 9 hours total doing this 27 spawns and no axe
Multiple places near HC that this mob spawns.. so far I have killed around 7 though and there is no drop. So the spawn rate is less than 10-15 minutes. Finally got the spell but the drop rate is significantly less than 15-20% probably killed around 15 running a long circle from the rock to the bind stone.
Quest: Restless Aric. Aric's Spirit has asked you to complete a task in AVP.
You there can you hear me? I am Aric, a warrior who fell to orcs long ago. They took my dagger, a cherished gift from my wife. I cannot rest until it is returned to me. Will you help me? The seers still carry my dagger and use my spirit to look back into the past. Anyone of them could have it. Please, retrieve my dagger and bring it back to me.
Reward: 0xp 14 Frigid Resistance Glyph
Does not require the Ashen Bronze Weapon Studs.
Stats are 7 damage, 3.1 Delay
Super annoying that it requires alchemy as well. To make this one club, you need 3 trade skills.
Coordinates verified, run south-southwest out of the town on the road, as it makes a gentle bend left look up and right and see a tall pointy rock. Climb to the top for the update. Quest cannot currently be turned in as of 1/20/25.

You need to complete Scavenger's Path in order for the fragments to drop it seems, based on comments there.
Can confirm it still drops from the Supply crates in goblin cave, got it tonight, after about 6 days of camping the goblin caves for about 2 hours a day.
These appear inside of the little waterfall cave, south of the binding point on lower bridge. There is an invisible wall preventing you from entering the cave. I assume this is a part of the quest "On A Hunch, Pt. 2" but I could be mistaken. Either way, you cannot get in this place without abusing DL's teleport.
I did which then allowed me to pick up the Nalis quest "A Deeper Investigation" were you have to walk over fire pits in the camps.
Turning that in put me on his "Interception" quest listed above. So Gonadoit's post above is actually Pt 2 and Pt 3.
I just need a solid answer. When/how/where does he spawn. I've camped at the listed location on the map and combed through reddit/discord/etc. and CANNOT find anyone that gives a straight answer as to how/where he spawns. Grats to everyone on their drops.
Is the flavor text just flavor or is there added crunchberries of actual silence and swiftness? Otherwise these are pretty meh and barely above what you can make with T3 crafted
Bird Beak Necklace
+5 mana
Cleric, Wizard, Ranger, Druid, Enchanter, Shaman, Summoner, Necromancer
"A crude necklace fitted with several small bird beaks"
Weight: 0.3
Their insta-mez ability has a stun component. It's not ideal because using it gives the mob the instant-cast buff for a few seconds, but that's better than letting the life drain fire.
been killing all the gadai in TF on a steady rotation, with several shard hops for the last 3 days, except the ones in the fort, and not a single rusted longsword... a metric ton of rusted daggers, no swords, I think i can safely say IF the gadai drops this it is VERY rare.
killed just under 30 times since the patch in early january. seen +1 wis mace once. mostly shoulders & a few of the str 1hb, but never seen the wis shield.
This has been updated in EA. It is now +1 health regeneration and +10 Frigid Environment resistance, Required level 15 and a weight of 0.2. It is also considered unique, magic.
I've finished the Outlaws with Captain Bolus, but Investigator Nalis only warns me not to get in his way instead of giving a quest. Is there an NPC between the two that's missing from above?
Yes, steps are missing. There's a video but not sure if against rule to post here. You need to speak (or have already) a Lt Lyran Hornbelle in Thronefast, far east bridge. Prerequisite quest is The Roughs of Gadai.
I disagree. I have killed this name like 40 times now and every time it has spawn in the same location. In either set of ruins it spawns right in the middle, near the idol, the name has never spawn anywhere else. I clear this spawn and only this spawn and I average about 2-3 name kills in a night cycle shard hoping. I have also never seen anything else drop besides the pants.
Does this mob still exist/spawn? I have been to the location many times and cannot find him.
Edit - Never mind. Days of looking for him and he shows up 5 mins after I posted lol.
Only Spawns in the day, 6 AM in game and on.. Shambling Skeleton takes its spot while the moonhoppers take the young foxes spot during the night. 4 and a half minute spawn time-ish.
Very rare drop off of Crew Boss, most of the time he does not drop it.
Common drop for the Warden (but the Warden is rare).
NO TRADE! So whoever picks it up... keeps it!

killed the 3 in the building, 2 wanderers, boars in pen, 1 by tower, and a couple others a little bit out. Still everything nowhere near us swarmed 3x in a row
Looted these from the new elite Orcs in AVP. They are called wristbands, but equip as hands. There are already the Greemyst Cloth Gloves (https://shalazam.info/items/2436-greenmyst-cloth-gloves) from the same set, so not sure if its a mistake and they are indeed meant to be equip as wrist.
"The Corroded Key drops from the Black Rose Crew Boss and Black Rose Warden. This key is for the lattice gate for the Ulthiran’s area."
https://shalazam.info/item_collections/11-keys-halnir-cave
I completed the quest "Scavenger’s Path" but Dorion does not give me the Map Fragments quest. My inventory has a Dusty map.
Tell me, what am I doing wrong?
Easy kill, he will summon the orc in front of the pen and the 3 in the house by his pen. Pulled these 4 orcs and the one by the campfie at the tower. No issues after this. He was an easy kill for a group of 29's. Dropped the coller. He is not broken in any way. He has the trait of Prized pig so any orc by him will add to protect. Just split the orcs first and you only have him and the boars.

(the page for the white dire wolf is bugged and won't let me post there, so I'm putting it here) 1x Second Curse Dire Wolf (lvl 10?) and 2x Second Curse Wolves (gray at 13) spawn as the placeholder. About a 13 min respawn.
Finished this today. Frostberries were difficult, a rogue friend got most and was easier for him. Need cold glyphs too from a different quest.
Pans are great.
Spawns only at night, have to kill 5 of them for quest Smuggling Operation. They WILL respawn multiple times. It was somewhere between 5-10 min respawn time.
does anyone know if this questline offers anything for healers and tanks? im a warrior and it allowed me to take the quest but dont want to go through the whole quest line if these are the only 2 rewards at the end. thanks! can anyone confirm?
Hey, yeah we had a report that it has been removed. It's difficult to confirm this as maybe everyone was just unlucky!
I've made it clearer above now by still showing drops that are marked as removed, but greyed-out. Eventually if it hasn't dropped for many months we can then remove it entirely, but this is a better in-between state I hope.
Go through tunnel that has that giant training golem in it and look for one tall boulder and one short boulder that has a walk space in between them and the quest will complete.
Coords for exact spot is X = 4429.76 Y = 5033.64
Just got this as a random drop from a Hobgoblin Char near the bind stone closest to spirit manor / small thronefast bridge beyond the crossroads. New stats are:
16 AC
+1 Dexterity
+1 Agility
Item is both Unique and Magic now.
dropped today on Aevos. I hadn't seen this before today's patch, and i've seen 2 of them now. Not sure if the previous one dropped from the same mob type or if it's random to all the hobgoblins in this area or what.
Muck-Stained Bracers Leather 7 AC +1 Dex
usable by War Mon Rog Clr Pal DL Rng Dru Sha Brd
Also dropped today the Staff of the Craven 18dmg 4.1 delay, +2con +25 HP +25 Mana. Class: Cleric, Wizard, Druid, Enchanter, Shaman, Summoner, Necromancer.
Just killed him and he does still drop the necklace, having the same stats. However he was light blue to me at level 12, so the level's not 7 like it says currently.
This has been updated with the Hanggore itemization patch from today, to 53 armor, +2 Str +1sta +1wis +3 cold resistance. Class: Warrior, Cleric, Paladin, bard
Fitted Bandit Leggins
9 Armor
+1 Agility
Warrior, Monk, Rogue, Paladin, Dire Lord, Ranger, Bard
https://freeimage.host/i/26TMl6X
Would count this as a Named. Takes place of Gadai Brigand
You have to complete all of the Provisioner quests for both cooking and brewing (last brewing one needs 14 Frostberries that are gated behind horid lvl 25 mobs and the cold zone) - once they are all done prov trainer then gives you the other quests in the chain to get the Pan
There is one specific bear that needs to die which is the place holder for this to spawn. If you want to know which it is you have to follow Khibera around and this will reflect the bear that is the Ph because it follows the same path
This quest is also available from Hailey Wren (Alchemist) in Availia.
The ingredients are:
- Small Spider Venom Gland
- ** the blood of a rabbit **
- zinc
- wolfsbane
Made it today - save your time and your materials - the ivory handled shortbow is MUCH easier to get and way better stats.
Requirements:
1 x Fleetness-Infused Shortbow Limbs (costs 13 Silver 18 copper and can be purchased from the Raven Trading Company in Demith)
2 x Ash Staves 1 x Resin Glue 1 x Walnut Stain 1 x Damaged Fleetness Rune 1 x Celestium Dust of Fleetness
1 x Simple Bow Reinforcement
1 x Ash Lumber 1 x Resin Glue 1 x Cured Leather Strips 1 x Asherium Bar
1 x Cotton Twine
Makes an Ash Skirmish Bow - 6 damage 3.5 delay +2 Agility
its a clicky self-buff item that drops from Grak-Gor. The buff is called "Warmonger's Rage". it lasts 12 minutes and the tooltip says "Physical Damage Increased." more testing needed to see how much
Note that this item is No Trade, so if its looted by a caster, good times.
Day 2 just for more of a reference!
1 PH, 1 Shoulder, 2 PHs, 1 Shoulder, 6 PHs, 1 Club, 8 PHs...went to sleep!
So yeah like anything some days are better then others and its all RNG...hopefully I can get the shield and move on soon lol
Yes, we haven't got the recipe for this yet but "Iron" in the name is usually a good indicator, and also the description there is fairly typical of crafted stuff.
This does not require the cured leather bow grip - the other 4 parts are listed as follows as of Jan 13 2025:
1 x Simple Longbow Limbs
1 x Simple Bow Reinforcement
2 x Cotton Twine
1 x Crow Feather
Requires the following:
1 x Simple Longbow Limbs
1 x Simple Bow Reinforcement
2 x Cotton Twine
1 x Crow Feather
Just made one and it does indeed make the Simple Ash Longbow - Ranger only 10 damage 4.1 delay
After Captain Bolvo
Talk to Investigator Nalis :
- Pt 1. Interception - Hunt the Gadai messenger - retrieve the suspicious letter
- Pt 2. Further Evidence - Retrieve evidence from the Gadai Leader's tent. <-- current place
He spawns at skeleton group mob camp outside of Avalia, in the cave..place holder is a skeleton that roams from the back of the cave (before the 25+ undead mobs) to the front of cave. thats his one and only PH that i know of
Makes Heavy Asherium Scaled Leather boots. Armor 14 +1 Constitution. Why the recipe does not include the word leather can be confusing to noobs like me.
There are about 5 spots he can spawn: two wandering mobs on the southern wall, two static mobs inside the ruins (with one undead as a barrier between you and these inside mobs, not a placeholder), and the wandering mob between the tree and the ruins archway entrance.
You get about 2 pops per night per placeholder. If you want the second pop, the placeholder has to be dead before nighttime hour 0.
Two varieties (observed to date):
Fire - get a stacking empowered buff when they take fire damage; casts a frontal cone fire breath with DOT
Ice - gets a stacking empowered buff when they take ice damage; casts "Ice Spike" (a frontal cone ice ability that stuns, knocks back and up) and "Flash Freeze"
I attempted to craft this, I believe it it bugged. Instead of crafting a Simple Greataxe Blade, it crafts Resilience-Infused Ashen Bronze Greataxe Blade... So now I can't craft my T2 Greataxe.
All of the cooking quests have moved from the Tavern Operator (Barton Clayver) to the Provisioner (Annie Rae) since the launch of Early Access. This includes the entire line, through Chef's Attire and the Campfire Roasting Pan reward. Quest Starter and Hand-In NPC is always the Provisioner now, in her small house by the Rangers & Huntress.
The information above on spawn times, location and PH are exact.
BUT
Be in for an old EQ level of camping lol...it was like I am in Permafrost camping the Goblin Alchemist for a Mammoth Hide Cloak...which is fine with me!
Day 1...2 PHs, 1 Shoulder, 8 PHs, 1 Shoulder, 13 PHs... 14th PH spawned, left it up and camped out for the night...
when totem is used it grants a 12 minute increased physical damage buff, 10 second cooldown on the totem. so basically permanent unless it has charges.
SenjiEQ posted it in a feedback thread on the discord. Not sure how to update or add a screenshot here, but here's the sword:
Feathered Wind Blade
12 Physical Damage, 2.6 Delay
+2 Agility
+2 Dexterity
+2 Magic Resistance
Class: Warrior, Rogue, Paladin, Dire Lord, Ranger, Bard
Flavor Text: A fabled sword adorned with vibrant wind griffon feathers.
Chance on hit to proc Wind-Cutter.
It seems pretty rare, got one today after killing these guys off and on for about 9 hours
Acquired from the other location for the trappers near the cave 2700ish by 2900ish
Good to know, can spawn at both! Now the question remains on the loot. I see the shalazam tool tip for the dagger now shows it as being 9dmg but I feel like it was higher a few days ago. Still waiting for someone to confirm the dagger or relic drops and their stats. Thanks for the input!
I found a silver spoon just in a random chest somewhere in Thronefast. I'm not sure if that's where they're "supposed" to come from or not. It seems like they ought to be able be found via scavenging, and I have reported that scavenging respawn points appear to be broken and VR confirmed there appeared to be some issue. Hopefully it gets fixed in a patch soon. These scavenging quests are nearly impossible to finish. I'm level 14 now and have had some of the same quests since level 1 and never found the items needed. :/
She has a follow-up quest after this one is completed: Gloom-Infected Rats. Might be unfinished/uncompletable as of this writing:
"Obtain something tainted with Gloom from the Gloom-Infected Rat (0/1)"
Has a nasty Mass Drain Blood skill that is Not a "solo" mob spell, does 49 curse damage to anyone nearby and heals him for FAR more then the damage done with the spell. Bring lots of interrupts or don't bother.
4 gadai insignia for Cadet Tandus Gnolly
Then kill a bunch of misc gadai for the Captain
Then kill 4 Gadai Outlaws for the Captain
And now I have no idea where to go for the rest
Haven't seen a silver spoon yet. Did find a wooden spoon though in the same hobgoblin caves near the griffin mentioned above out of one of the junk stash boxes they have. Not sure on the use of the wooden spoon either so maybe it's for this quest?
webless skitterfang named spawns at loc 3648 3096 just inside the eastern enterance in first left passageway heading in from ent of cave closest to bindstone and webless skitterfang dropped item "webless fang" slot earing jewelry 2+ poison resist on 1/7/25
I think he was pulled out to adjust his loot or something and only recently put back in. Now i've seen him multiple times but didn't a few weeks ago similar to Forlus's comment above.
Dropped Bleach Bone Club today (1/10/2025) after they added him back in. 7 dmg, 3 delay, +5 health, +5 mana crushing weapon (1h). Class: Warr, monk, rogue, cleric, pal, rang, druid, sham, bard
Its possible the necklace has been removed, maybe we should remove it from this page. I think the heart might only drop if you're on the quest? It's required for A Shaman's Request
Living corpse spawned inside the cave in the first 3 mobs in the cave that is. Don't go past where the low levels are as there are some super high levels back there.
See the new heatmap on https://shalazam.info/monsters/155-gadai-recruit - there's a few camps dotted around Thronefast, and a good concentration near the boar ramp; at the top of the ramp, instead of going down, keep to the right. You'll see a few Gadai up there and also Larc's camp is up there somewhere.
Saw him today, he is a group mob (should really be tuned down to solo!) He eventually pathed into a guard by town and killed himself while I tried to get a team together.
These little guys can knock you down for a couple seconds.
Drops I noticed after so many kills.
-Coins
-Sturdy Stick (1)
-Crude Grinding Stone
-Pouch (6 Slot)
-Patched Cloth Shoes (+3 Armor)
-Weathered Club (+3 Physical Damage - Crushing Weapon)
Initiates a quest:
Blackback Venom Gland
"This spider venom gland seems full of poison. Still, maybe the Huntress would be interested in it."
Rewards:
EXP +0
Silver: 5
A different mob than this one at this same camp also dropped a cloth belt that instead has 1 INT, 1 AGI, 5 HP. It was unique and I've seen it drop twice now.
The wolves you're looking for are the grey howlers/pups. They spawn up the hill from the crossroads between the goblin camps. I've noticed that I've only found them during the daytime
^ Above comment is accurate. I've seen him 4 times now in about 10 hours of camping. I have seen earrings 3 times and monk gloves once. Two of my 4 spawns were within 30 minutes.
I clicked the Cart near the Dark Agent and got some inventory full message, which agro'd the 2 siders next to the cart. killed them and the 1st one dropped the Grey Celestium Dust.
Group of 3-4 mobs that spawn in this area. Chance to be the sacrificer. All 3 drops are still in game. Have seen him ~ every 2 hours of farming. Heavily camped across all 3 shards, people looking for the earring. Respawn rate is ~15 minutes.
These can be obtained from Grey Howlers and Grey Howler Pups through skinning. It is not a regular loot drop. (Perhaps others as well, only tested on these two specifically)
In Thronefast if you head south at the crossroads up the hill and then turn east a bit there are a few walking around on the hill. It's not a super common drop so expect to have to skin a few of them. They are scattered throughout the area past the crossroads as well.
The associated quest is called "Raid the Thugs" and the quest giver is Foreman Aldeus in the town of Availia (More commonly known as the tradeskills quest giver) You need the Ringleader's Lock Box Key off this mob to access the box and loot the quest item. You can not loot the item unless you are actively on the quest.
~Storm <EA Black Moon Server>
one of the locations he spawns at .. always between those two gadais at night.
or if am not mistaken if you saw Gadai Outlaw .. he spawn instead of him at night in the two camps

This quest is currently unobtainable it would seem. No follow up quest was given upon turn in of the insignias for the Test of Courage prerequisite quest.
I had the key dropping and we managed to open the chest, however, the item inside said that i couldnt pick up the quest item cause i didnt had the quest, anyone knows where this quest begins?
This is incorrect - the initial combine of 2 bolls yields 3 yarn which combines to yield a single bolt of cloth of which you need 3, Cotton Twine can be purchased from the vendor for approx 4 silver 86 copper or made at a conversion rate of 3 yarn for 5 twine(smallest combine). Bear Tallow can also be purchased from the vendor for 2 silver 43 copper but is frequently dropped from bears in Thronefast and AVP and owlbears in wilds end.
Total build requires either 18 bolls, and approx 12 silver 15 copper worth of Mats
or 20 bolls and a Bear Tallow.
Can confirm the 15-20 minutes respawn timer. He follows a small L-shaped patrol route and can despawn. If he despawns like that, he will respawn after 2-5 minutes at his normal spawn.
I would note, as of 01/08, Lay on hands does not take reckoning and reckoning recharges every 3 minutes. This means you can pop Venger's Vow and Wrathful Reckoning every minute to replenish your wrath.
I was camping at the location indicated on the map. Someone called him out and he was in the shadowy thug area. So there's probably other spawn points.
Worth noting that there are two different possible spawn locations listed for this mob. I have done 8 night cycles at the southern undead ruins (the one close to town) and have yet to see him spawn there. Went over to the other site (the one just NW from Halnir Caves entrance and he spawned in with the rest of the night shift. Killed him and he dropped the Bat-Fur Leggings. So my question is.. can it spawn at both locations? Only the one, or can it rotate between the two for spawning? Would also LOVE to see someone confirm a dagger or relic drop too please.
I don't think it's a nerf. First of all, it's a solo mob, second 2h weapons crafted at these levels only do 12 damage with a way slower swing. It does 8 damage with stats and has the speed of a dagger. I think it's appropriate to experience this game =}
As of now, this npc is still not where it is supposed to be. It doesn't exist, so the quests are still impossible to begin, and you cant learn jewlcrafting as of 7/1/2025!
ive crafted all tier 1 shields and checked with each step of crafting (basics) and nothing is giving quest credit, still 0/5 :| which shield should I be crafting please and thanks. I can read "5 Maple Round shields" . Maple Buckler Plate, Crude Buckler, Crude Small Shield, Maple Small Shield Blank, nothing works. Is this skill rank 36 "Schematic: Simple Buckler"?
I guess I just assumed the quest *reward* was cold weather glyphs, but maybe doing this quest unlocks better glyphs for purchase or something. On this page, it says the reward is 1g. Anyway, I'm only level 13 (Rogue), but I like doing dangerous and stupid things, so I'm gonna go try to get some crystals soon on my own to complete this thing, lol.
It's only the mild frigid acclimation zone. Just talk to Thame Ashmane after completing "An Enchanted Quill" and buy the T1 or T2 glyphs from him. Relog if you can't see the glyphs. The glyphs are tradeable.
She dropped "Black Tear Idol" a re-usable item 1min Cooldown 20sec buff duration "Cursed Empowerment" Increases spell damage and drains life for mana and turns you into a skeleton.
The buff looks to drain ~30hp for ~4mp (over the 20s duration) and increases your spell damage by about ~30.
I am pretty sure it might be metal nails wich only drop from gadai and forest foragers and such, and meaby supply crates
I havent checked my assumption yet, but if someone could check it, that would be awesome
In game it says the following for requirements:
1x Nails
1x Miscellaneous Items
I bought all the different nails on the supplier and none would slot into "Nails".
Worn Leather Straps did slot in for the Misc Items.
3687, 2822 in TF I believe. You get there through AVP. Run like you're going to Demith and take a left and run up and around the mountain where the Redjacket Queen spawns. I saw then during the daytime but it may have been that transition time between night and day, I can't remember
I discovered that the blank is used to make the Crude Asherium Kite Shield. I don't recall seeing the word crude in the description in the quest line, so I wasn't expecting the Crude Asherium Kite Shield to be the correct item for making the items needed for Trias and the subsequent quest to make 3 more of the same shields immediately afterwards. I hope this info helps.
Sorry for delay in reply, please post screenshots of new/updated stuff to our Discord - see the Shalazam section, #items channel.
Looted this off of a "Lost Orc" wandering around in AVP. Killed him in two different locations and he dropped this Orc Blood both times. No idea what it is for.
Maple Seeker's Staff
Main Hand Bo Staff for Monks only
6dmg +1agi 3.4 Delay
Items to craft
1 x Novice Fighting Staff Blank
1 x Improved Endcaps
1 x Celestium Dust of Fleetness
I've heard this also drops off named mobs but i just got it from a supply box (the ones that look like treasure chests but aren't) in the goblin cave after days of searching.
Really helpful comment... would going there and add the coordinates hurt?
/loc is 3838, -1890 for the one with the queen, another one at /loc 3983, -2333
this is incorrect. Ash lumber is available from Maxon (Carpenter) in Avalia on the tier 2 tab of his inventory for 4s40c. It requires 36 skill in woodworking. Bulk Ash Lumber (skill 48) is 9s28c.
We're still building out the details for a lot of the new camps/dungeons, especially in Wild's End. The entire zone is only 2 or 3 weeks old. There's a lot to do and not many people volunteer to do it - everything on this site is updated by around 10-15 people. The focus is to get the map updated for WE so locs for a place like this would make any sense in the first place.
Ultimately this is a free community-run project and we like to play the game as well which can sometimes take priority over logging everything that we find here.
Once we get some locs we'll add them.
He spawned at the bigger of the 2 thug camps for me (consistent with the map), the one with the pond. I don't know which PH i killed or if it can be any of them but in this instance he was the npc that walks from the fire down to the house by the pond and goes inside that house.
I don't like the "group mob" crap - especially how there are so many of them. Single con says green or gray, but its a "group mob", so really its a Red?? Very bad system. Either make the "con" actually mean something, or drop it altogether.
Item missing from this list (and website) that was crafted today by Narrin:
Iron Myrmidon's Dagger:
6dmg 2.4dly
3str
15hit
warrior, rogue, wizard, ranger, enchanter, shaman, summoner, necromancer, bard.
result from Schematic: Myrmadon's Dagger
don't fight these unless you're above their level and have some sort of self-heal.. their abilities hit for 40 damage. even as a level 14 monk I died to one, it had 10% hp left.
Camped it over 8 rounds. Repops were 3:25 -- 6:37 -- 3:28 -- 3:32 -- 3:29 -- 6:46 -- 3:23 and 6:45
So short timer (typical) is around 3½ minute and long timer is around 6½ minute.
Now its listed as 3 damage 2.9 delay - classes are the same
Had this drop off a Gadai recruit at the camp where the recruiter spawns
/loc 4009 3083 in Thronefast
Got the first fragment from a random chest in the Thronefast goblin cave 1/1/2025, so it's still in the game. Just stupid rare.
You give it to the Treasure Hunter, not Foreman Aldeus.
Go there at /time 18, it will take a minute or two for the first spawn of Rilo or the ph young viper. After killing it wait 15 minutes for respawn. After killing twice in a night that's it, night lasts 30 minutes or 2.5min/hr so I'm like 99% sure it's impossible to get a third spawn.
Requires the following:
1 x Novice Tunic Basis
1 x Improved Cloth Cord
1 x Celestium Dust of Acuity
Makes the Burlap Elementalist's Tunic
Cloth Chest wearable by Everyone
7 AC +1 Intellect
Cave is very unforgiving. Bring an enchanter/CC. Spent couple hours in here and never saw anything drop. Lot of squeeze and no juice for me out of here. Corpse recovery's usually end up needing second group for backup.
Hobgoblins have been changed as of last patch to no longer be group (chevron) mobs. They still have some nasty abilities - shaman caster, and pressure point armor come to mind, but they are definitely doable solo now.
Made using Schematic: Student's Shawl (found mine in a supply crate)
Requires:
1 x Novice Shawl Basis
1 x Improved Cloth Cord
1 x Celestium Dust of Acuity
He has a handful of quests after "Borrowed Weapons" as well. One where you have to kill Larcs the Weaponmaster to get a stolen schematic, and then one after that where you have to kill a Gadai Bandit with a Rusted Dagger equipped. That one appears to be the last one in his quest line (as of the time of this writing) unless there are faction requirements for further quests.
Spoiler Alert-
Speak to Elara in Demith (AVP) to start quest.
Speak to Master Zavi at Shaman pond in Thronefast.
Turn in 3 items to Zavi to receive the antidote
-1 Brightcap Mushroom (found in Halnirs Cave, tradeable)
-1 Ratkin Blood (found in Halnirs Cave, tradeable)
-1 Heart of Nightbane Toad (no trade, spawns at night, toads are placeholders, shaman pond and wizard tower confirmed locations)
Speak to Elara in Demith (AVP) and turn in the antidote to receive the robe and 2500xp. It looks like a tunic.
Spent an hour at shaman pond killing toads during night cycle on 3 different shards, couldn't find him.
Went to caster tower and he was already up during the day.
Killed him twice with a group of 10/10/9/8. Lots of resists/misses, so we just kited around the rock when needed. He dropped the skinning knife both times.
Just to note, the "trash" mobs around the Manor can drop several good items. Here are a few I have found recently:
(1) Ethereal Long sword - 7 dmg, 2.8 delay, 1 str, 1 agi (1H Blade Weapon)
(2) Ethereal Dagger - 5 dmg, 2.4 delay, 1 agi, 1 dex (dagger)
(3) Ethereal Great Axe - 15 dmg, 4.1 delay, 1 str, 1 stam (Great Axe)
(4) Ethereal Chain Gauntlets - 14 AC, 1 dex, 1 cha - (Chain, Hands)
(5) Ethereal Chain Hauberk - 28 AC, 1 str, 1 stam (Chain, Chest)
Killed 12/29/24 - Level 26 now not level 21, dropped Ring of the Drawn - no stat ring that only says ''Equipping this ring has a strange effect..." , ring gives permanent illusion to look like one of the Drawns while it is equipped. https://imgur.com/a/6q2KIJd
Seen two Ritual Clobbers and one Gem-Encrusted Mace. Need a lot more drops to be sure, but likely they pulled the Hobgoblin Rock Crusher from Drog and made the Gem-Encrusted Mace his rare.
Killed easy sooling with 13shaman. repop is fast 3-4min. Place holder = king rabit. Had to kill 4 place holders and then the named poped. Dropped the ring first kill.
Seems to be a legacy item, probably a replacement for the torn map fragment for A Map Fragment? leading into the quest that drops the Consecrated Shield, Runed Bo Staff and Runed Staff
All can be found in the encampments South/Southwest of the bridge from Thronefast to Avendyr's Pass. Brawlers & Thieves are chevron (elite) mobs; Picklox is not. Great experience area for a group, highly underutilized. Quite a few chests with tier 1.5 schematics in these camps -- I've seen well over 10 schematics out of boxes in the area while doing this quest.
All adds around him are no longer group mobs, but the brigands and Lars himself still hurt really bad with "Waylay" which seems to do 80-100dmg. It can be parried though
Had a spider of ill omen spawn right as i killed one of the spiders in the area but someone else killed it no fang dropped not sure if a someone on the quest needs the kill for it to drop. Not sure if the kill was the trigger with a timer as i killed more and one didnt spawn.
this mob is still solo - just did easily solo as an 11 summoner, you can pull the front left and the wanderer up the path then hug the wall around to the top of the cliff and attack the mob to his south east then he pulls solo
Drops 3 sets of armor
Moss Claw leather -- Heavy leather
Fernfury Hide -- Healer leather
Vinebrute Mail -- Chain
Each set has stats
Level of these are also higher than 20. They go up to level 21/22 it seems
In case anyone is having trouble finding this...
When facing Master Zavi, look to the right (West) and you'll notice a zig-zag path going up the cliff. Follow it up and run to the end where you see a big tree by itself. Right behind the tree is a large protruding rock. Stand on the stone floor between that rock and the cliff wall and the whispers will pop.
Just looted this from 'Box' in at loc 3787.80 559.25 4407.58 113 (Mountain Hobgoblin Camps - as of yesterday solo-mobs [though they still hit like trucks on some abilities])
You need to kill the named group target "Thug Ringleader" To get the key for the locked chest. I killed 1 at the smaller thug camp with only the 1 house, I am unsure if he can spawn at either location. The chest with the silk is in the larger camp, there is a half destroyed house in the back. I was able to walk all the way around and get to it by killing only 1 thug. I am unsure if the chest locations changes. (The camps are north of the main town if you are looking at the map, marked with a red marker. Smaller camp on the left, larger on the right.)
Do not kill the warf rats during the day time, they appear to be Placeholders for the smugglers and switch from rats to the smugglers shortly after dark.
I made the mistake of killing all but one of the rats the first time while i waited for dark and only 1 smuggler spawned.
This Rabbit at the current state of the game (no mastery points etc.) was impossible for a Warrior level 9 to solo.
You'll want a healer, or two DPS as of 12/27/24.
Ring Dropped for me.
Probably the easiest 10 slot pack to acquire in the game, and as of the start of Early Release it doesn't have any weight so better then your starting backpack
I wonder if you don't get credit unless you hit with the main hand? (I've only ever tried with dual-wielding chars).
Also, do not use abilities when you get them to low health.
Check out the Flameseed Oil item page for what it's used on - mostly Ashen Bronze armour that we know about so far.
It is worth considering mentioning this item also has use for Necromancer spells like Crumbling Bones, Ghastly Corpse, Assemble Bones, Haunting Shade, Raise Skeleton, and Malignant Dead
Very rough trying to find this. Definitely feel like young fox tails should be interchangeable with this, either that or there need to be a lot more adult foxes.
You may have to clear all the spawns from the lower area as well - there are something like 15 additional bees to the west. After I did that, she spawned. BE WARNED, she summons all bees when you attack her, so clear the adds first.
Exactly the same task as previous quest.
go to /loc 4071.05 976.69 5086.42 220
and kill some Initiates until you get another coin.
You get 300 xp and 75 copper and "Standing with the Sorceress" each time.
Not tested but if you get coins from any other place you can most likely stand here and hand them in to farm standing.
If this is the one I'm thinking of, I got this by
running up the hill at the back of the shaman starting area and standing near the edge near the top
in various places for a second.
Can't remember exactly where got me the ding but it was completed after a few minutes of doing that.
After patch, then dropped Swamp Sentinel Mail Coat. chain 22ac 1con 1 int war, clr, pal, dl, ranger, bard. Pobably drop other Swamp Sentinel items as well.
I don't think so - but note that there are two pre-requisite questlines you must have done first, both Delivering Justice and The Roughs of Gadai (see box in top-right)
I think it's at the usual Alchemy Bench, but note that you need the Glue Pot in your schematics bag first - the recipe has the full details
Foxes :) Just make sure you find a "forelyn fox", not a "young foreyln fox" because they drop the "young fox tail".
Good places to find these that I know of are on the hill up above the mage starter area, and also on the grassy plains near jacked rabbit. And I'm sure there's more places.
in the winter zone off western part of AVP. Dangerous for low level + has cold debuffs applied by environment worst of which is a -6 DoT. So cant stay there long enough to get anything. Sucks this is a blocker for the quest to get the pan to make higher level foods.
Trying to help a friend out. Where does one "start" becoming a Jewelcrafter. I found the "workstations" without an issue but unsure where he would "turn in" the token to learn this? Thanks in advance.
The
Second Curse Wolf
drops the required quest item,
Shadowed Paw
, and can be found at roughly
4175, 2815 on top of a hill near a dilapidated structure.
Beware as there are group difficulty hobgoblins in the area and they will aggro from some range.
This quest rewards the player with Moonlit Mixture, a no trade quest item used in a follow up quest.
Yes I ran into this as well. No bows I could make without finding a dropped schematic worked, but I'm not sure where to find it - probably in a crate..
Well shoot, that would probably explain why it was so unclear I was in the right area. I had to use the information from this page and also reaching out to other people on Discord to figure out how to find it. Although now that the coordinates to the piece have been fixed, it should be a lot easier for people to find, especially if they use the map feature on this site.
I haven't found an "organic" way to get up to the hobgoblin cliffs *without* climbing some pretty tall cliffs. So depending on your climbing skill and maybe your food buffs, you "might" not be able to reach it? I can't be too sure, but the way I got there was by climbing up a cliff at 3028, 3594. This is roughly near the Avalia newbie area, and it leads up to a cliff with some level 8ish Chevron hobgoblins. I then scaled the cliff to north of that, to get up to the right area. It's entirely possible there are other ways to get there, but that's the way I found.
But it's dangerous up there, and I think the only reason I was able to navigate around there is due to being a Rogue and being in stealth as much as possible. If you're not a Rogue, I reckon you'd need a group to clear out the hobgoblins, in which case your group should probably be in the 9-12 level range.
This dropped last night from a shady outdoorsman. Stats changed. It is now +2 charisma and +18 dodge rating.
It seems to be a super super rare drop, as I have killed hundreds of these guys and only seen it one time.
There is some faction gain:
You have gained 1000 experience.
You received 2 silver, 50 copper.
Your standing with Thronefast Regulars has improved!
You have completed 'Smuggling Operation'!
Confirmed same as Earthquake. After about 200 kills, this one was finally seen dropping tonight. WIth as rare as it seems, disappointing stats dropped so much.
Edit*
The weapon was visible displayed in Orc's hand.
I dont understand how you are suppose to traverse to the hobgoblin area, I only managed to get to one by climbing a bunch of obscure cliffs and while my loc was closeby to #2 it wasn't exactly the right area.
Any tips for at least getting to the right hobgoblin area - my locs were around 30XX and 35XX.
Maybe it was the right one but I couldnt explore too closely it only had about 5 goblins roaming is that correct?
Note on Dreg "Pressure armor" - title is "Pressure Plate Armor", and it is a %-based "damage shield"-type ability (i.e., when you hit the enemy, you get hit for a % of the damage dealt).
Okay, I found it. The loc is basically exactly at 2828, 3695. The coordinates above are correct, except there's an extra "2" at the front of the Y coord. It looks like a small dark rock on the ground, and it's surrounded by hobgoblins. You'd need either a group to clear them out, or do like I did and be a Rogue and loot it quickly while stealthed, heh.
I do not understand where the 2nd item is. For one, the /loc coordinates in the spoiler don't make sense, then when I go to where I think it is, I can't find any sort of statue or "old head." I'm so confused, lol.
Sturdy Tree Branch still drops from this mob:
It is currently (sure this will be nerfed):
12 Damage / 2.9 Delay
1 str
1 sta
Classes: Same as above image
Weight: 3.8

I had one of the Ulthiran mobs (either initiate or cultist) near skellies right outside of Avalia drop this, but with different stats:
1 Armor, +1 Agility, +1 Intellect, +5 Health
Still Cloth and same equippable class list.
Return to the area around LOC: 3450, 4400 and kill 6 cultist mobs. Note, the initiate mobs killed for the blood sample in a previous quest do not count towards this quest.
Are you equipping the Cloth Punching Wraps for the fight? It won't count if you're using any other weapon. And if you're doing it in a group, the killing blow just means you have to get the final hit to kill them.
For the wolf paw in this quest take the road east from crossroads to the bridge where the bind stone is. Hang a right after the bridge and go up the hill. There are some thugs up there but behind them are the cursed wolves.
There are or were 3 drinks you could brew that had environmental resistances:
Sunbrew +5 Frigid Environment Resistance
Blackblood Tea +5 Toxic Environment Resistance
Moonbrew +5 Scorching environment resistance
Workers do not seem to do this - it only seems to be the Redjacket Stingers that use the ability Sacrificial Sting, and if you do enough damage at one time before they get the cast off, the cast will interrupt and they will start running away. - Did this several times, waited until the last second when they got to around 40% hp and then used a weak instant then a 2sec cast spell, usually finished before they did and they would turn and run if the damage was enough.
I think they usually spawn in gloom environments (hence the name) - so for example Spirit Manor, and I think I've seen them spawn in the skelly camp just outside Availia too.
These mage hunter initiates seem to spawn outside the western tunnel exit from the summoner, and up the hill. I only saw 1 up at a time. The coin was an uncommon drop, I got it after the 3rd kill.
he now wanders to the left of where the redjacket queen is, that little strip next to that area, some cultist walks through there too
also dropped a orc skull general item
In the heart of Halnir Caves, the master smith Ulstad crafted the legendary Blood Iron Plate. Using Glimwort Pulp, a rare glowing fungus, and Spectral Essence drawn from the cave's restless spirits, he forged the armor over a searing month. The full set gleamed with an eerie light, its dark metal pulsing as if alive, promising its wearer unyielding strength and spectral protection.
Yes. the gauntlets and helm are so far up-to-date. Everything else are older entries. You can check the patch status for most items by clickling on the item and checking the upper right corner how up-to-date it is.
Can confirm that the "Royal Sting" still drops. However, the stats have changed.
This weapon is now:
One-Handed Short Spear
6 Physical Damage
1.6 Delay
+5 Physical Crit Rating
Classes: Warrior, Rogue, Ranger, Shaman, Bard
Req Lvl 6
Weight 3.6
I've now gotten this twice:
Two handed staff:
Worn Staff
14 Damage
3.2 Delay
Classes: Warrior, Cleric, Wizard, Druid, Enchanter, Shaman, Summoner, Necromancer
I should note that it has been visible on his person prior to the kill each time.
You need the Campfire Roasting Pan (see top of the recipe page for the requirement).
And also 36 cooking - this is a higher tier recipe than the starter ones.
Have seen this mob con white at lvl 6 (in addition to yellow [so likely 6-7 range]).
Uses "Venomous Bite" which can cause Weak Poison DoT (-3 hp per tick)
Standard drops: Snake Blood, Snake Eye, Large Snake Fang, Small Snake Venom Gland, Tarnished Ring
Skinning drops: Snake meat, Low-quality Snakeskin, and Tattered Snakeskin
Looted the Crudely Forged Blade today, stats have either been changed, or there are multiple versions.
One-Handed Sword
5 Physical Damage
1.7 Delay
No stats
Found dark howlers (mob) at 3474, 3314.321. They satisfied this quest. The pups do not. Go across the bridge and follow the road about halfway between the bridge and the crossroads on the right and left sides.
As of Oct 21, the redjacket bees around the queen have a new ability. When their health gets low they self-destruct doing 70-169 damage that I've seen. 70 was standard damage. 169 was a crit.
Duo looks like same effect as Round. Partner looks like Square. Brass = +2, used in Figurine/Relic
Brass Row is same as copper Round above, Row/Trio used in scepter.
The Dusty Map can be found in all the hobgoblin junk crates. I found mine at Oceanside in that small hobgoblin cave.
The follow-up to this quest is called "On A Hunch Pt. 1". You have to find a dusty map from the hobgoblin caves near Windfeather. Pt. 1 is followed by Pt. 2 which has you find a cave behind a waterfall that has some hidden treasure. There is a designer note stating that Pt.2 cannot be completed until swimming is implemented.
Have killed Rilo about 6 times this season. The shirt drops 100% of the time. Have yet to see Scuffed Pendant. He also seems to drop random equipment like Simple Handwraps, Patch-Hide Cap, and more. Usually drops a Mild Antidote or bandages. Often get Crude Grinding Stone too.
Have camped this spawn for 3 straight days. Have killed Queen over a dozen times. 0 drops of the spear this season. Some have suggested it might have been removed from loot table but others have said it may now be a 5% drop rate.
Thanks Nessuno, you probably noticed a couple of bugs with the URL linking :) Looks like its best to use tinyurl for now as the parser needs some improvements. I fixed it all up for you :)
There is a treasure chest in the spider caves. Inside the treasure chest is a quest item called “a locked coffer”. Turn this in to The Scavenger for reward. I did not get a follow-on quest, but I still have the Dusty Map.
