At around 112 we had one drop and then the next day 5-6 kills in the other one dropped. of the rings and countless hoods and pants off the wycan. Less than 1% drop rate is garbage. Xp was from 28-35 during that time same camp
Camped about 2 weeks back for belt drop.
Belt dropped in probably about 30 odd kills across the 3 (now 2) shards.
5 amulet quest starter drops in that time.

the game has different states that can be activated and used to created debuffs. opening gap is one of the "states". when opening gap is applied it allows either someone else or yourself depending on class to apply a debuff that consumes the opening gap state. this spell creates the "opening gap state on the target mob.
Huh. My quest dialogue says North. And, sadly, I have not found the "pure honey." I can only get regular honey and have seen no nodes, hives, or whatnot to gather from.
Just made it now. I used a Black Iron Standard Tool Haft, a Black Iron Pommel, AND a Black Iron Pickaxe head, and the result was a 36 effectiveness pickaxe (as pictured). Since that's 4 more than the standard iron pickaxe, it seems as though it's 1 additional effectiveness per bar used, although I'm not 100% sure. It's the only thing that really makes sense, since the Haft required 1 bar, the pommel required 1 bar, and the pickaxe head required 2.
Wow This is absolutely ridiculous that this is a unique item. Was so excited to finally be able to make my own 24 slot bank containers then I saw the tag after I couldn't figure out why I couldn't make another. Tailoring is absolutely useless at this point.
Update: jingling* not jiggling, I suppose both could have worked.
I got two more to test with, they're about as rare as the ring from what I've seen. I sold one to the vendor in HC, nothing as expected. I'm just going to keep the other one on me even though I'm starting to think it has no use.
Stolen Schematic -> The best defense is a good offense.
Druid, Shaman and maybe Cleric need a rusted hammer. Another class needs a rusted dagger.
But my elf ranger cannot get "The best defense is a good offense" quest.
He averaged spawning for me once every 3 hour(ish) did a nine hour camp on him last week and he spawned 3 times during that period, almost perfectly split by 3 hours. He definitely seems to have become a rarer spawn.
With the changes to melee ability interrupts - if you are fighting him at his spawn point - he can launch you off the roof so be aware of that. I generally take him to one end of the roof and then face him in towards the center of the roof so I am knocked that way. - I am referring to his "Stomp" ability which is no longer interruptible by Dire Lords.
