The Pin on the Map is the correct Cave location. You are looking for a spell brown bags that will give you the quest item. I saw one stuck in the one of the ice columns. Look around the whole cave if you can't easily find it.

Brace of Claws drops off Nydar (not Lydra)

Is there a schematic for smelting this? it doesn't seem to work with the normal Casprilite ore smelting schematic.

The brace of claws like to Drop in spurts seen one day were three droped in 8 hrs and another day were two dropped in five named. Then it goes back to never seeing it again

Got two day one and then one day two and none day three each 3 hour sessions

Got a dagger on day 1 and a dagger again on day three after the wand of creeping vines dropped

Got one on day three camping spider and lydra

I did 8 days at 4 hours per day for the brace of claw and no drop. The spear dropped on first drop for our rogue when went to change things up. I think we are on same bad RNG...sigh

Day three of camping lydra and the brood watcher and haven't seen anything but the wrist and shoulders. Still trying for My spear. I have only seen the lydra with white paint markings for what its worth. Ive seen nydar in both red and white paint markings

wasn't too bad. Checked a few chests, didn't find starter map. Came back another day and ran around doing same. Found it quickly, like fourth chest. It was one inside the Gob caves. I got pretty lucky - about one in 8 chests total....biggest problem is that they are so far apart you havge to run all over and shard hopping takes so long at each spawn point, so it feels like a slog to look for one. I got lucky with Drog - PH was up, killed two more PH and he popped. Don't even TRY finding the map in manor at night - the new fog is so dense you can't see the ground. wait until daylight. The ground spawns look like rolled up scrolls. The one in Demith wouldn't appear for me until I looted the one in Manor....maybe coincidence but the guy on balcony commented about me going to manor and it was there on bal;cony with him. For Jorryn, I used my 31 summoner to clear cmap and beat jorryn down, then we mezzed him and kept him mezzed while I logged over to my wiz for the final kill and looting The coffer wasn't bad - I had one death but I didnt see a spider nearby when I refreshed my invis. I invis-ed ran to entrance of cave, invised off to side at safe spot, ran in to bridge near the camprfire, refreshed, ran to coffer spot, looted and stuck-ed out With my big toon's help I got the whole thing done in one afternoon - about 4 hours total play time

These bees are level 24 and 25 i never saw one con less than even at 24 while getting 4 levels on them from 23 to 27.

Can you kill these at 28 With a warrior and a 24 cleric duo? The cleric has a 3+ mana regen buff from my 31 enchanter so he has basically permanent full mana when duoing the bees in Ep that are lvl 24 and 25. These mammoth are 30/32. I know these mammoths are easier mobs than some others.

Killed the north one and the center one nearest the town and they have no loot table as of about two weeks ago

I unlocked it with 10 crushing, so seems weapon skills do it as well.

The recipe shown is for Thick Leather Clasp, not Simple Leather Clasp. Edit: I don't think there's actually any "Simple" Leather Clasp in game, but using Thick when asked for "Simple" in the tradeskill UI worked.
