There are about 5 spots he can spawn: two wandering mobs on the southern wall, two static mobs inside the ruins (with one undead as a barrier between you and these inside mobs, not a placeholder), and the wandering mob between the tree and the ruins archway entrance. You get about 2 pops per night per placeholder. If you want the second pop, the placeholder has to be dead before nighttime hour 0.

One spawn point is exactly at 2340, 1980. Respawn time varies from 10-17 minutes. Drops a spell maybe 15%-20% of the time

What does PH stand for? I’ve only seen this guy spawn once. I got the gem crusted mace Edit: ohh it means place holder doesn’t it

Two varieties (observed to date): Fire - get a stacking empowered buff when they take fire damage; casts a frontal cone fire breath with DOT Ice - gets a stacking empowered buff when they take ice damage; casts "Ice Spike" (a frontal cone ice ability that stuns, knocks back and up) and "Flash Freeze"

So. Rare. Do yourself a favor, ignore these & just farm bat wings for the Simple Mana Draught. Trying to farm these isn't worth the hassle.

Rat Whiskers are used. Small Rat Whiskers do not work. The naming logic is... lacking.

what time should the place holder be killed?

I attempted to craft this, I believe it it bugged. Instead of crafting a Simple Greataxe Blade, it crafts Resilience-Infused Ashen Bronze Greataxe Blade... So now I can't craft my T2 Greataxe.

It can spawn in the goblin caves or spider caves, killed him in both spots.

The placeholder seems to be on a 15 minute respawn timer

All of the cooking quests have moved from the Tavern Operator (Barton Clayver) to the Provisioner ([url=https://shalazam.info/npcs/5-annie-rae]Annie Rae[/url]) since the launch of Early Access. This includes the entire line, through [url=https://shalazam.info/quests/213-chef-s-attire]Chef's Attire[/url] and the [url=https://shalazam.info/items/817-campfire-roasting-pan]Campfire Roasting Pan[/url] reward. Quest Starter and Hand-In NPC is always the Provisioner now, in her small house by the Rangers & Huntress.

These guys also drop the Ivory-Handled Shortbow

The information above on spawn times, location and PH are exact. BUT Be in for an old EQ level of camping lol...it was like I am in Permafrost camping the Goblin Alchemist for a Mammoth Hide Cloak...which is fine with me! Day 1...2 PHs, 1 Shoulder, 8 PHs, 1 Shoulder, 13 PHs... 14th PH spawned, left it up and camped out for the night...

Got it from a supply chest in a thug camp.

Drops off gadai recruits as well as hobgoblin rockeaters. Used in the quest "Supply for the Priest" given by Dorion.

when totem is used it grants a 12 minute increased physical damage buff, 10 second cooldown on the totem. so basically permanent unless it has charges.

Was there today, 4 or 5 spawns and no named pop. Maybe this only actually spawns in the spider cave?

Yes, you just need to complete Scavenger's Path quest for the Map Fragment quest to unlock, you can ignore the other 2 he offers you

Good to know, can spawn at both! Now the question remains on the loot. I see the shalazam tool tip for the dagger now shows it as being 9dmg but I feel like it was higher a few days ago. Still waiting for someone to confirm the dagger or relic drops and their stats. Thanks for the input!
