In the middle of tent. Roams a bit left and right. Believe it was a heavy every time but the named has rogue-like abilities. Had 2 necks drop in 4 kills. I was 3 manning it by pulling with my monk from on top of the rock through the tent and FDing to pull only one. Its a rough pull expect the monk to die a lot
I just successfully made tattered leather from 2 tattered snakeskins. I had to right click the snakeskins in my inventory for them to populate the tanning vat, but they do still (or again) work.
When VR devs refer to Magical damage, it refers to that damage/ resist type and not all spell damage in general.
Magic Cryptlings get buffed by the wizard spark spells, or Shammy choke line, or Enchanter spells in general.
Fire, frost, poison, curse, or spells that do physical damage will not buff these.
It's the same for the Summoner buff that boosts magical damage by 15pct by the way... Many people thinks it's all spells but it's not. Likely unintended but it hasn't been fixed.
It drops from a static spawn in the middle of the ruins up against the post, but only during the night time. Generally ppl leave the PH up from 14H in game time, so that when 19H (night time) comes around, you have a chance at it being the named. If you kill early during the night, you can get a second spawn around 2-3am. Fellspike seems to drop about 90% of the time. This is a pretty rare spawn though.. I'd guess 10-20% chance of named spawning.
