To trigger the night time event you must, when leaving Avalia, enter the left side of the guard house, travel down the steps to the lowest floor, exit the room onto the porch where the water is and turn left and go around the back of the barrels into the corner. Then once the dialog has finished pick up the orders on the table just back inside the room.

It's not a mana drain over time, its a small nature damage nuke and gives a short (under 10 seconds) duration buff that gives 3 agility and 3 dexterity along with making your auto attacks deal water damage to nearby targets. https://files.catbox.moe/452ojw.png

This quest is bugged if you have killed Peltmaster Crane and have lost faction. The NPC to give you the box and mirror will attack you, you will not be able to get the dialogue, and it will show the quest completed even though it is not.

To acquire this quest go to Demith and listen to the conversation behind the provisioning building. Then go to the docks in Availia at around hour 20 and talk to the guy behind the ramp down. Then you have to go back to Stefano Denton and you get the quest put in your log.

His /loc is about X = 1784.74, Y = 2019.89 I also have a screenshot but no idea how to submit it here :)

Seems like any of the Chasm Golems (Daytime) and Headless Construct (Nighttime) are the PH's in the area, I've seen at least 3 different named spawn locations
