Anyone know what the key is to finding certain ones of these? I feel like they must have some sort of drop system in the game, where certain things drop certain runes more than others. I am Constantly finding Vitality runes from mid-teen-level humanoid mobs (moor'vaki, and lost orcs for example)
I was waiting till one more friend got this to post, but looks like that won't happen. I can confirm it exists. Necklace gives a +5% damage +5% healing buff Ward of the Ghaldassii, I didn't figure out exactly what type of damage yet if it's spell or physical or both, will report back once I do.
Can confirm, after farming this across 4 shards for hours, I ran into 114 PH's and 4 Bosses. So the boss does indeed still spawn but seems to be ultra-rare. Dropped Dagger & 3 Helms. Spawn rate is definitely really bad.
Just had it drop about an hour ago. Logged in my lvl 20 Dire Lord that I had camped at the spawn on a shard around 4am in-game time and he was walking away from the aqueduct. First time seeing him up (killed night-time placeholder 20+ times across shards) and I got the Stalker Arrow's drop. 8dmg, Ranger only
Waylay is currently broken. I have twice now been killed by low con mobs who waylay. Near as I can tell their is a difference in the Displayed Damage and Actual Damage that waylay does. Both times I was killed total damage done to me by the mob did not add up to my total hit points. Example: Displayed damage was 75 total, with me having 135 HP. Yes I am very sure on those numbers, as the second death was specifically a test after the first death on the exact same mob. Waylay was displaying as 45 points of damage (none mitigated), but the actual affect on my health bar was at least double that amount. One waylay took over half my health. I have spoken with a few others who have experienced this as well, including one person who was 25th level and killed by a deep gray Rockeater who could have not been more than 13th level. I suspect mob waylay may be doing damage that is percentage based,
lv 21 druid here, farmed the earring to enjoy that mana reduction and it seems to not give any reduction at all. i've tested it with all of my skills at full mana so far and there is 0 discount, going to make a bug report
I think the shield has a base damage rating of 12. It is physical damage. The con of the mobs and their armor rating will affect how much damage that BoC does when you're taking hits. Whites/Yellows/Oranges+ etc. will take less damage, and in some cases resist the damage fully sometimes. This indicates to me that Defense rating (will it hit or not?) and resistance/armor (OK, it hit -- how much is mitigated?) impact the damage. Since the damage is physical I would assume Armor is the primary factor for BoC damage mitigation.
Also, a bit unrelated but I had a Cleric in my group hit me with the Inspire Allies buff (currently bugged as of 3/17/2025) and Brace of Claws was doing like 32 damage per strike (52 mitigated according to the combat logs!) against chevron'd knightwolves during my last play session.
