He gives you all the items you need, so you just have to head to the workbench and combine them. Quest line seems to end here currently, but was a nice little lore drop.

The bastard does not spawn, the placeholder has spawned many times now, but no white wolf. Has been camping him for hours, no spawn out of probably 10 times or more. They need to do something with bosses' chances to spawn... Can anyone confirm that he even still spawns?

At the start of the Profession, Signets are used in Novice Signet Ring, Novice Pendant and Novice Hoop Earring. I made a Novice Signet Ring of Acuity -> Pewter Signet of Acuity, Pewter Ingot, Beeswax, and Ashen Polish. The ring has +1 INT on it. Sub-combine - Pewter Signet of Acuity: Pewter Ingot, Beeswax, and Celestium Dust of Acuity.

Any update to the axe? I have killed him about 75 times.

You can make a ring with wisperwind asp scales that gives 5, or you can make an earring with frostcoil rattles that gives 15 dodge and a few haste

Dravid is correct, the reward is 10 small health Draughts not the 1 that is shown in the rewards window

You have the entire grip line listed as a group spell instead of a a target spell. In game it is currently target.

This quest does not require you to craft any pewter signet rings. You will receive a schematic from quest to craft Soldier's Insignia Ring. DO NOT craft any pewter signet rings thinking you can use them for this quest.

I have Ruby, Sapphire, Aquamarine, Opal, Emerald, Diamond, Amethyst, Tourmaline from mining in Hangore for the last few weeks. Also one or 2 other gems I dont know where they are from but not on this last either. Anyone know, what stats these gems effect?

For my Rogue 9 to 12 these were a staple diet when soloing. Be wary that you don't get an overinflated sense of self-awesomeness and take on something harder without thinking!

As a rogue, avoid these things even if they're blue. Their Sonic Screech things makes you miss your special attacks a lot, and then they Drain Blood. Just not worth the downtime for benefit. Maybe if Bat Meat becomes useful you might want to farm them when you've outlevelled them, but for xp it's a 'NO!' from me.
