Curious, people that have this, how hard it hitting for?

They drop off grass snakes and diamond-fang vipers. They're used in the Snake Scale Boots quest.

The one in EP is much higher level, con red to lvl25

Unfortunately, I believe he no longer drops the armor or it's incredibly rare. Killed approximately 12 times without a single armor drop.

This valley is the bottleneck for running from WE to AVP/TF. Do not try at lower levels - At least not until the map is expanded more.

Can anyone confirm the proc damage on this?

It seems to proc very often for me. Also I was mistaken -- it does show up in combat logs. The base damage seems to be 30, and it is affected by mob resistances. If the mobs have high poison resist it won't be that effective. On gray mobs it hits for 29-30 all the time, and averages about 18-22 damage for me on equal level (currently 25) mobs with no known innate poison resist. I don't know the exact rate of how much dex affects the proc rate, but since my main is a warrior I try to stack str/dex/stam as much as I can on all my gear slots. Even if dex doesn't affect the proc rate that much, it's still worth it to dex stack for the hit/crit rate as landing more hits = generating more threat and readiness. I'll have to try some naked auto attack testing on high health gray mobs like chevron'd bandits or something.

He spawned in the trapper cave near Demith. Soloed at lvl 15 druid. Long fight, dots and damage shield and pacing FTW

This is used for Blacksmithing and is usually in high demand.

I also looted one of these from a Hangore chest, so probably not.

Techniques are learned automatically when you reach the required level. Just make sure to keep your weapon skills up as you level.

These Mobs provide in a duo group give 19% XP at two lvls lower, very good for lvl'n! 11 to 13
