Are these currently makeable in the game ?

Just got one last night. On gray mobs I see hits for 12 damage, on dark blue / white mobs it's pretty consistently 9. It can also crit. One more interesting bit of info with this shield is that it stacks with the summoner "shield of spinning X" spells. I had shurikens on myself last night which was doing about 14 damage a swing when enemies were hitting me and BoC was also dealing damage with every hit. So dealing about 21-23 damage every time you get hit is a really nice DPS boost and threat boost.

Does anyone know what this quest item is for? Found inside a "Junk Crate" in Thronefast at 4543, 593, 2773. If you do not have the quest, you cannot loot it - and the crate disappears.

Aren't hides and pelts essentially the same thing? They just drop from different animals? eg, rats have pelts, bears/boars have hides, but they can both be used to make leather right? Or am I mistaken?

Tattered Leather needs pelts, not hides.

I got confirmation as of 3/14/25 the next step is not in the game. My guess is when it is it will continue right where it left off with Eldren the Sage, or by clicking on the item.

They drop off grass snakes and diamond-fang vipers. They're used in the Snake Scale Boots quest.

The one in EP is much higher level, con red to lvl25

Unfortunately, I believe he no longer drops the armor or it's incredibly rare. Killed approximately 12 times without a single armor drop.
