The Cloth Handwraps are no longer available on a vendor (that I could find), but can be looted from an Ultharen Cultist. To make sure you make the killing blow with your main hand that is wearing the wrap, equip a torch in your offhand, or another handwrap. Generic Gadai's won't work, it must be a bandit.

Can confirm, I just got one off an Ulthiran cultist, after trying for a long time with Gadai.

He has: Localized Storm - puts down a storm on the ground that you have to move out of (looks kinda blue/purple) Chain Lightning - high shock damage (chains between multiple targets) Great Storm of the Seer (or something like that) - summons a big blue ogre guy that will cause an AOE knockback. This is the one you really wanna interrupt. It seems you can target the ogre and perhaps attempt to kill it before it does the knockback, but it happens so fast we weren't able to do it.

And why isn't this usable by Dire Lords?

The ability to buy a potion that gates your group to Barrowdark is actually a pretty cool quest reward. The disguise and signal flare kinda make me think there is a way to continue the quest line as well that hasn't been found yet.

When we did it a person that didn’t have the quest triggered the fight and died and then resurrected him and then the MPC disappeared, and we had the ring

You go into the tower at the top of the stairs in the courtyard of Black Rose keep and there’s a chess or a nightstand next to a bed you click on it a name, guy spawns you Agro him and when he disappears, the ring is in your inventory congratulations. You just finished the most worthless quest in the game.

You get a ring for the end of the quest in BRK from his nightstand

Vice Baron Requias is in the tower at the top of the stairs from the courtyard. He clicked on his nightstand to make them spawn.

After you encounter Vice Baron Requias in his tower you will be given the ring by clicking his night stand , Then the barrow dark to hand it in and gain the ability to buy black Rose keep guard disguises and a teleport consumable that teleport you to the barrow dark

That's correct, no clue what to do next ( I hope it's related to the event in brk) will try to work on that part next :D

hopefully this isn't the last step, and Shalazam just needs to load in next steps. I'm caught up to this step just need to find this guy, I believe Vice Baron Req in BRK which I think is up in the tower opposite of where chalice jey spawns.

Nothing this NPC drops is worth the fight.

If there isn’t a point to this disguise other then to look like the BRK NPC for 15 min then who ever did this quest needs to be placed in a different position.

If this and the disguises are the final reward for this quest then someone needs to have a different position in the development instead of quest. I suspect there is more to this …I hope . Otherwise giving us black rose keep disguises that don’t freaking fool the black rose keep NPC’s is totally asinine

If a member of your group has the quest, but you don't, it will let you see the needle, but won't let you loot it if you don't have the quest. I've seen it drop off that trapmaster and also a thug.
