Where are these found? My summoner is lvl 102 mining and I have NEVER mined a uncut diamond or any other gem required as an ingredient to pet armor. I know they are in game I have bought them from other players and reasonable prices I might add.
Odds seem to have favored us a bit, we have gotten three in the last 3 days pulling from underground. Keep at it and you'll get there. Arrow procs on every auto attack, between 2 and 9 fire damage. Doesn't look like it hits on ability attacks.
Gives a passive buff that i beleive gives a small amount of cha and the proc gives 1.5% haste stacking up to three times until it fades. The smolder crush and sunder dmg dot proc also stacks up to three times..
Hairs seems to have dried up or weve had terrible luck. Havent seen a hair in over a week playing 4 to 5 hrs at a time at the trenches ina single group pulling massive amounts of mobs including halor and vorthar and havent seen a hair. Weve got coutless bows and atleast ten lances. From halor weve now gotten about 6 maces. And all that time no hairs.. crazy
Killed her around 12 to 15 times, finally got an arrow. I'm a 44 Ranger with the Everburning Bow. Unbuffed at 45 Dex. Seems to proc fairly rarely, I'm guessing less than 5%, maybe a bit more as I haven't ran tests and counted procs. The proc is fire damage listed as "Searing Arrow"... The damage can be mitigated. So far I'm hitting anywhere from 2 damage up to a max of 9 so far.
**I'll try and do multiple blocks of 100 shots and count up the procs to get a rough average on the proc later.

Question: Does Charisma really affect ench mez? It's labeled as a hit modifier on the spell, but personally I haven't noticed any difference with how my mez spell lands on a target with charisma. Curious if anyone has done any testing or has more info,
Was just inside Mad Run on the Oceana server. The chest is no longer where it has been (as listed in the spoilers). In fact, ALL chests have been removed from the Map area in Mad Run. Anyone know why?
I finally got one today after killing somewhere between 100 to 200 wildspells over the last few weeks, which is stupidly rare. Just wanted to confirm it still does drop
I wish this was not unique, it would give tailors an option to make their own bank boxes. It would never be as good as cedar so boxes would not be made irrelevant.
My dude take that passion and argue in the discord along side of me in hopes VR will see all the negativity surrounding this particular spawn/loot table and make some adjustments to the hair or the banshee drops. This is the thread https://discord.com/channels/187566182084116480/1388751934818750475. ( Member only / Quests&Lore/ Spawning Banshee)
Its insane that this mob has 4 drops on a table with how the current mechanic works to pop her, it should be just a basic 2 item table with neither being overly rare even if this means they gotta nerf the boots slightly. I cannot stand items put into the game on non raid encounters ( mind you this is just a mid 30ies rare mob ) with items that are essentially unobtainable even if you put in weeks/months of effort. No item should require several months of farming and STILL need luck to see the drop. We are about 2 months into the Ashbreathers content and there might be at best 3 total pairs of caster shoes across all servers with Trenches being farmed via chain pulling daily heh. Completely unreasonable.
The item is a "clicky" with infinite charges that you can activate from your bags. The buff is a damage shield and lasts for just over 1 minute, and the cooldown on the Cinder Sprite is 6 minutes. You cannot have 100% uptime on this item like you can with other clicky items.
Other oddities about this item: It overwrites any other damage shield buff, such as a summoner's "shield of blades" ability line or the druids Verdanfire Thorns. However, they can simply re-cast the buff on you and it stacks with the cinder. If you are a warrior or paladin with Brace of Claws, you can have up to 3 different damage shields with this item and a summoner or druid in your group.
There is another relic that does something similar -- https://shalazam.info/items/198-ice-encased-scale
I can say, from personal experience, that innate health regen does not bring you back to life if you are in purple health. You must receive external healing because the rate at which your purple health declines is greater than any current level of health regen. I play warrior and have a base health regen of +10 and also have the ice encased scale, so my regen is 11. Druid buffs bring me to 17 regen. I've gone to purple health with all of these active and still end up dying.
Have spawned Kvetra numerous times 10+ Have seen nothing but the writhing stud. Absolute garbage drop rate for the rest of her loot table considering how rare the hair is and only 1 can be summoned per day cycle. Rangers will grow disdain for VR as they stuck one of the few arrows in the game, this being highest dmg on this ULTRA rare spawn/drop cycle.
Some info on the weapon's proc -
The proc is called "Smolder" and it applies a DoT that lasts a short duration on the mob. It then ticks 4 times -- once every 6 seconds -- before expiring.
This DoT can stack up to 3 times, and each time the proc happens it refreshes the duration of the proc and increases its damage.
Testing results - Level 40 warrior attacking level 40 training dummy in Avelia. The training dummy appears to have a static fire resist value given the results.
1 stack - 8-9 damage per tick (1-2 mitigated) so the base damage is 10.
2 stacks - 17 (5 mitigated) so base damage of 22. This was consistent after multiple rounds of getting 2 stacks.
3 stacks - 25 fire damage (8 mitigated) so the base damage is 33. This was also consistent after multiple rounds of 2 stacks.
One other thing to note: The first tick goes off immediately when the DoT lands. However, when the stacks increase you don't do the Rank 2 or Rank 3 damage immediately -- the first tick is always consumed by a rank 1 tick, then the remaining 3 ticks are for the full stack's damage.
